NFL 2020 Season

Doesn’t help Jones that his rookie LG is playing just like one. They must see potential to take him 4th pick. Giants D ha been pretty good but lost their heads in the last few minutes and let the Eagles take over.

it's one of those decisions that no one saw him being taken that high that i recall , and was someone the giants could have got later on, but they decided to go for it.

as for onlines, a lot are having issues and not just with rookies, number of injuries across the board is worse than i remember in a fair while

Are you guys talking about Andrew Thomas the LT?

He was projected first round in every mock and whilst there were variations on Wirfs/Thomas/Becton/Wills over who went first every draft had them first round with almost all drafts having them top 16.

It wasn't a bad pick at the time, it's revisionism to suggest he was a bad call, retrospectively yeah he is but at the time it was viewed as a good pick. He still has time to develop too considering the fact the line in general is garbage it isn't an easy position for him.

Agree with both of you (and yes I meant Andrew Thomas). He stands out somewhat in what is a bad line for sure but did manage to run it in the second half against the Eagles at least. In a better mood than last night, looking at the close losses to the Rams, Cowboys and Eagles means there is some hope. Injuries are always a problem but the whole league seems really banged up this year.

I've noticed that this year regards injuries and can only assume it was lack of pre season and pre season workouts.

It's killing my fantasy this year the injuries, seems every week a player is out for the season or at least a substantial time period.

Another game where the Steelers blow a huge lead. They were lucky to get the win. Need to play a full 60 mins next week against the Ravens.

yeah was suprised after how well they started, be interesting to see how the ravens game goes.

Not sure what's going on with the cowboys, even washington much be amazed by how easy that win was.

after all the talk of the battle between Jimmy G and Bill.......

well played arizona, not looking forward to what they might do to the rams :(

Oh wow, please don't edit in things about later matches! Or at least put it in spoilers. I check the last post time and think 'Oh that's okay, as I sit here watching Seattle Arizona, as it was posted during the second set of games'... :(

sorry :(, on my part that comment wasn't based on the result more on how well arizona played considering how seattle had started the season

What a blinking amazing night of games, Bengals snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as usual :D

With rumours of Darnold being traded at end of the season who do you guys think will go in for him? I can see Niners, Pats, Steelers and Saints all being big in for him as I think the guy is still a potential star with a good team. A first round or a pair of seconds he would be a great pickup IMO.

i was rooting for the bengals, mainly cos i hate baker :D

as for darnold, i think it depends on what they want for the trade.

the 4 teams you mentioned i don't think will go for him, either due to them having options to the backup already or a current qb (niners) that is at least as good as darnold.

falcons would be my main choice, outside options at carolina, jacksonville or the vikings

Odell Beckham Jr is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear, be interesting to see if the browns improve without him.

Titans vs Bengals, after the Adam Humphries incident either it was a catch or hitting a defence less player and then the pass interference call in the 4th quarter I can help but feel cheated out of this game.

Rant over.

beyond woeful rams performance, for the lovers of stats this game was one for the ages :D

terrible call on the humphries play :(

as for pass interference it seems like everything is getting called no matter how slight, players reactions getting nearly as bad as footy players when their fouled .

Another good win for the Steelers. Hopefully they don't blemish their record next week against Dallas :o

Also looks like they are signing Avery Williamson from the Jets to fill the Devin Bush injury. I don't really know too much about him, but he is supposedly a decent player when healthy. Hope they don't drop Spillane though, as he has been excellent as a stand in.

you're asking for trouble even thinking something like that :D

with the steelers defence the way it is i don't think they should have any issues even if the offence doesn't do too well

thankfully the rams have a bye week so they can sort out the mess from this weekend

I have seen it happen too many times in the past :( The Steelers are masters at playing down to the opposition.
