NFL 2020 Season

I will take the win, but that was a shocking performance by the Steelers

look on the brightside, after previous comments they'd have lost this game in the past :D

Washington go 2-6, but what's annoying is we really should have won both games against the Giants.

Qb down for washington :(, and another close game, suprising how many there have been involving the few bottom teams.

something from the weekend that irratated me, there was a play where the defending side had what looked like an interception, but it was stripped and taken back by the offence, the defensive side appealed that he had posession for a couple of seconds so its an interception and it was given, if thats the case how come receivers have such an issue needing to be in posession of the ball with no movement, down on the ground, taken a couple of steps etc ?

Can you try this bit again, I don't get what you mean? They are supposed to have the ball in possession and make a 'football move', right?

So how does that taste, Mr Brady?

I think it's kinda funny that both teams just took knees from about 2 minutes out. You almost wonder if there should be some kind of surrender option, that they could have taken somewhere in the 2nd quarter... ;)

the receiver is yes, along with having total control of the ball all the way to the floor and for the completion of the play, the question i'm asking is why doesn't someone have to do the same for an interception

Bears are pathetic :(

Bears have been extremely frustrating all year. Even when they were super-lucky in the early games, it was clear that nothing has really changed. During my lifetime the Bears have mostly been bad teams but this current management are making me extremely apathetic to this team. I'm sick of Nagy-ball. Sure he's dealing the with some poor personnel decisions but over the last 3 years the offense has largely been ineffective. It's just in 2018 he had the benefit of Fangio's outstanding Defence.

As much as I'll never cheer the Bears to lose if we do miss the playoffs (very likely even with our favourable schedule), it's got to put the GM; Ryan Pace in jeopardy (contract runs out in 2021). Credit to him for gambling or at least trying to snag the pieces you need (QB + DE) but ultimately he's whiffed on too many first round draft picks and had to overpay for veteran talent.

Titans were the better team on Sunday and deserved that win, although a better offense would have made that a winnable game.

Vikings next on MNF, and then GB on SNF (after the bye). Given the Vikings recent resurgence and how we always get done by GB this might be two hard games.

it was ravens v colts, ravens appealed it as an interception, for me if this was taken by a receiver i don't think it would have stood as a catch

I think the ref explains it perfectly. Caught it, made a football move (was in possession with two feet and then made another step) and then had it stripped out. I get what you're saying, it was a really close call, but I can see he had possession for three steps myself.

adverts at the start for 5 secs til you can skip

Not for me ;)

fair enough, just watching back on gamepass, and my issue was if he had control of the ball on the 3rd step, seemed close and as before if that was a receiver i feel it would have been an incomplete pass rather than a strip/fumble

Washington once again not playing that bad, just making stupid decisions/mistakes. On the pass, to put them in FG range, why on earth would the D sit back in a prevent. I couldn't believe it... Literally handed them 10 yards.
