As far as I'm aware, you're looking at:

Console
Standard Cables
Wiimote
Nunchuck
Sensor bar

Hopefully, they'll chuck in the Wii Sports games because I wouldn't pay for them seperately (personally). I doubt they'll throw a classic controller in (image further up in thread) and I think they've binned the shell idea.

Perhaps they'll do a multiplayer bundle? 2x Wiimote and Nunchuk plus Wii Sports?

The classic pad or whatever its called (forgotten already) looks really cheap (wired, fairly shapeless) which I think is a good thing because hopefully it'll be thrown in for free and we'll be able to play 360 and PS3 ports such as Pro Evolution Soccer. That better come out otherwise I'm going to have to fork out for a 360.

look like a CG render to me, be better waiting till you see one in the flesh.

The classic pad is of course a SNES pad redesigned. With regards to the wires, perhaps it links to the Wiimote, rather than the console? Presumably it would fit in the Gamecube port?

I'm wondering also whether we'll see some rebranded Wii-ve birds? ;) :p (You like what I did there?)

I'm wiily excited about it, the games look great fun, especially red steel and that 4 player sports game. I know the footage wasn't really high quality itself, but I expected the graphics to have a bit more oomph - zelda, a 'cube title, was as good looking if not moreso than the rest of the titles shown. I'm sure it's capable of more than we see.

could not think of any where else to post this but Super paper mario is comming to the gamecube :D

really excited about the wii. I think its gathered more interest than the PS3 from E3 thus far. And Microsoft have outdone sony as well from what ive seen so far.

Already have a 360 and i'll be looking to get a wii, and maybe a couple of ps3's purely to sell on.

My only worry is how wii's games will be for someone like me who likes to lie in bed and chill playing games before i go to sleep. I'm not fussed though, should be good anyway.

Microsoft = Nintendo >> Sony

So which long-standing respected member is gonna organise a Wii sports event where we can all come along with out wands and jump about at each other then! :D

Just watched IGN's trailer 1, and I have to say I'm fairly impressed with Mario/Zelda/Metroid/Red Steel. The other titles looked good fun, but a bit of a let down graphically. After all, I would expect a decent step up from a 5 year old console - even if it's not X360/PS3 standard. Some of the effects in the games I mentioned I was impressed with certainly reflect this - I'd just like to see more graphics work put in on the WiiSports titles etc.

It's NEVER been about graphics or sound, Nintendo leave Sony and MS to deal with the eye-candy whilst they deal with the playability.

Sony and MS have the hard-core gamers, Nintendo have people who want to have fun.

it was always about wether they could pull that controller off. i think they just have.

I've been waiting for the consol from the day it was announced, and damn it im gonna get one withotu a doubt now.

I'm just wondering if Nintendo have remembered to patent the controller tech (if it's not already patented by someone else ;)) - I suspect if it goes well Sony and MS will be using it in a few years time ;)

Given how sceptical a lot of people were about the whole controller for the revolution/wii and how it would work with games I think they've largely put that worry to bed with the demo's :)

Really! I'm shocked, I honestly don't think I've seen any scepticism, more intrigue.

Very worried. What happy if 4 person play the tennis in a small room? :D

WOW - That was better than anything I expected. Too many points to go through. Am going to goto bed and look again in the morning and try to take it all in.

I wonder what a WWE game would be like, sure people may not like WWE, but a wrestling game with steel chairs and all that on a Wii could be so much fun.

Interestingly enough, I too would like to see how a Wrestling game would play out, especially after seeing the crazy lady doing the running.

Starfox DS
Players can blow their friends out of the sky as they dogfight with up to eight players over a local wireless connection or take on up to four players from around the world on Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

:D :D :D

Starfox on wi-fi?

What a thing of beauty to play on my DS Lite :)

Regarding the Virtual Console.

It also will be home to new games conceived by indie developers whose creativity is larger than their budgets.

For a company which as for many years had a "Members Only Club" type mentality this is GREAT news for gamers. Wii WILL be seeing innovative games on this new console, no doubt about it.

I too have never purchased a console on launch before... I WILL BE. I may even be in the Que at midnight

Its cool but not "reality".

Whenever E3 comes around people scream "wowsers its like real life". When it actually comes out its like "meh..."

This has been the case since

I doubt that FPS game will be as cool as you imagine. The auto aim looks a bit dodgy. The sword scene looked a bit random. He just waved down and the sword went down in one swoosh. I am sceptical about its ability to be 100% accurate in translating your hand movement to character action. Its not VR. Also Im sure its not a million miles away from using a mouse to control a sword in games ie. bit pants.

Zelda look better where it just adds something not replaces the traditional pad and also the sport games.

EDIT-

Wii controller prototype made by NASA

EDIT 2 -

Also I read somewhere that mothers will love the cutesy Wii. Picture the scene as mother walks in on little tommy smashing the controller down whilst he is beating the hooker on "Street Pimp Wars 2". A bit too real?

EDIT 3 -

This was FPS perfection
