*** Nintendo Switch ***

Id defo take one of those covers as well
My self adhesive black felt/velour turned up today (£1.99 for an a4 sheet)
Cut them into 11mm x 65mm - which is roughly the size of the inside guides and stuck them onto those guides to protect the switch sliding in and out

Might be over the top but for such a small fee and 2mins of effort id rather protect my investment

One reservation I note is that there are 2 tiny hole/port at the front. I am unsure what that is for, whether it is sensor or ventilation.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have been eating bread up until now in my life, nothing against it, never really liked it, not going to buy it any more :p

See, this is someone who has bought the "People who buy Nintendo consoles are only interested in ninetendo games" nonsense that has just become a thing, well, become a thing since pretty much every major software developer stopped producing games for their consoles.

The Snes was THE console to have in its day, it had a huge array of triple AAA games from every major publisher, it had the best version of SF2 (which was all anyone was interested in) in fact, it had the best versions of everything.

The GameCube was the only place you could play Resident Evil 4 and Remake for ages.

The handhelds were the only places you could play pokemon (which isn't made by Nintendo)....

So, getting back to your stupid reply, no it has nothing I'm interested in playing it on it, as I'm not interested in first party Nintendo games, the only one that I had any time for was Starwing.

Hit a nerve did I? Why so serious? Relax...

Yes I like my Nintendo games and I cannot play them elsewhere so I buy Nintendo console. As you are happy using such words, what I find "stupid" is buying a Wii and the Wii U if you had no interest in Nintendo games :p

Smyths do and it's cheaper as far as I know.

Cheers. Only problem is they don't have any branches round here and I really wanted them for tomorrow because the family are coming round and we want to relive our youth by playing bomberman.

Edit: scratch that just seen there's one in Charlton with stock

I agree the SNES was 'the' console to own back in the day, but it didn't have the best version of SF2 ;)

Champion edition > Turbo imo.

Did they ever release a SF2 on the SNES with the new characters? They released so many versions it's hard to remember.

Okay well it's pending at the moment in MM fingers crossed. She's very excited would be a shame to not be allowed.

Thanks for the Trust message :)

Just reserved my switch at Asda to pick up tonight :D ... reserved Zelda at Argos so it's all good !
I want to buy snipperclips so me and the other half can play when I'm not on Zelda , is it available on the e-shop or do I have to get it through Amazon ?

Go instore or call up your local store. I was in the Birmingham store today and they was talking about how the demand was normal then come Saturday they was fly off the shelves. Like no one was interested then all of a sudden people wanted one.

That's what happened in my store. Friday was mostly the loyal Nintendo fans that hadn't pre-ordered, buying the console and Zelda. We only sold 3 units. On Saturday, the Switch sold out completely along with 1-2 Switch and all bar one copy of Bomberman. So far, 1-2 Switch has been our top-selling game, followed by Bomberman. We haven't run out of the initial run of Zelda yet.

For those looking for a console, stock appears to be sporadic. We just get one or two units at random. So it is worth checking the supermarkets, but I'd suggest you do so before work. We sell out daily by lunch time.
