I don't live in the UK, so it's not Nintendos fault. Guy I work with agreed to buy mine for a discount. I ended up getting mine today for £255 anyway :)
 
Just noticed there is dust under the plastic screen... I haven't noticed it until now but now I have I keep noticing it. I want to send it back but with how the consoles handles save games I don't want to lose 20+ hours of Zelda progress :(.
 
Unsure if my dock is faulty. When I dock my switch the green light comes on but goes off in a minute or so? Havnt played on the big screen Im just using it for charge purposes really but sometimes the ligh comes straight on and sometimes not?

Think I read that cloud saves are coming. Just need to hold off a bit. I'm guessing it'll get rolled out with their online system.

I think the light comes on when you are actually using it to play on the TV, if it's sitting there charging the light does nothing
 
My Pro controller came today from GAME. Was actually fully charged from the box so I synced it up with the USB cable and carried on playing Zelda. It is quite a big improvement over the joycon 'pad'
 
I cant believe the amount of people who are willing to let the general poor quality control from Nintendo go. I own one and I love it but Ive had to a stick a bit of selotape under the kickstand to keep it shut FFS. The stand is the most rinky dink piece of tat and its really quite mind boggling how cheap and flimsy it really is. I guess it speaks volumes of highly regarded their games are but Im actually shocked with it really and Im considering throwing everything in the box and just using it in handheld mode with the charge cable to keep it juiced up.

I'd say the stand is by far the poorest part of the design.

It's just cheap and flimsy.

Just had 45 minutes playing Zelda on the tv with the Switch docked, checked the screen protector for any signs of lifting due to heat and it all looks fine to me at the bottom edges (which was where the Hori film was lifting).

The glass protector has been on my Switch for 6 hours settling in prior to docking and playing it on the tv.

Anyone who hasn't got 1-2 switch and has a few friends needs to get it! Few beers, friends and this game is worth the money!

And that's me who thought this game was going to be ridiculous and overpriced!
