*** Nintendo Switch ***

Watching that video last night is what led me onto finding the awesome looking 3D printer. Then I went to sleep with my brain filling with ideas

Well, Seiken Densetsu collection is quite a big deal for me as I loved Secret of Mana on the SNES. However, Seiken Densetsu 3 was never released outside of Japan and so has not been translated so I'm not holding out much hope of the collection ever being released outside of Japan.

I'm aware that there have been homebrew SNES translations of SD3 but Nintendo aren't exactly going to make use of that :)

I bought the OoT dock sock (don't think I like the term, too similar to another sock term...)
Guess at some point I really will have to commit and actually buy the Switch. I was thinking of waiting, but with Nintendo doubling their order I get a feeling price dips are highly unlikely. Also, Secret of Mana and Sequel is a must have for me (though I hope a translated version of the sequel is released). Zelda had me tempted, and sad though it is, Secret of Mana sealed the deal (well, along with other aspects as mentioned below)

I don't know how much I will use the portable factor, though as I commute I certainly have ample opportunity, but even without that, despite the weaker specs the Switch is the obvious console choice for me simply because of the local multiplayer Nintendo tends to provide for, it is something the other consoles just don't compare to and something that seems underappreciated when people talk about the pro and con of the Switch. I mean:
Bomberman 8 players 1 Switch (don't care how shoddy the game is overall, 8 mates on this will be fun)
Mario Kart 4 players 1 Switch
Splatoon 4 players? 1 Switch
Secret of Mana & Sequel 3 players, 1 Switch

All I need them to do is bring out a Perfect Dark/Goldeneye type 1st person shooter for 4 player, 1 Switch play and I am covered for all my needs with friends.

You're missing Smash Bros!

Edit: Overcooked and snipperclips too.

I so badly want a new smash bros and bring back the ice climbers

But also hope they bring key gamecube games to the switch via virtual console etc

I never really played wind waker, so want to try it because i loved the art style of it
Plus luigis mansion would be good on the switch

How long a list do you want?

Metroid Prime
Smash Bros
Mario Party
Metroid Prime
Monkey Ball
Star Fox
Lylatt Wars
Metroid Prime
Goldeneye/Bond style FPS
Metroid Prime

Plus the huge potential VC.

E3 should be good this year....well, it better be. Could kill the Switch hype if it doesn't
