I am having a dilemma about which Switch to buy!
Was always set on team neon, but now I see the green & pink sets coming out for Splatoon 2 in the summer which I definitely want, especially the green. But if I get a neon Switch that would mean one blue, red, green & pink joy cons. Which would drive my OCD a bit nuts, and it would be expensive to complete 4 colour sets!
So now thinking of the grey one. Then get a green & pink joy cons set when they're out. Decisions decisions.

I found the grey Switch hard to find. Got the neon, and the good news is (for us OCD folk) that if you get another Neon set for 4 player games, the blue/reds are opposite in the pack so you have a end up with a matched red/red left-right blue/blue left-right combos.
Just get it and get a pro controller for Zelda/MK super worth it.

Had mine for a few weeks now, loving it.
Zelda is phenomenal, beat the previous one I played on the Wii (Twilight Princess) by far and I loved that. MK is awesome with 4 players too, but i'm struggling to get 4 stars in 150cc lol. Snipperclips is great fun with 2 and was mayhem with 4
Thumper is great concept well executed, quite hard but enjoyable rhythm game.
Got snake pass for the wife too but neither of us liked it. Trying the Disagea demo but it looks crazy complex, not sure if it's my thing. Shovel Knight is a nice platformer but not sure it's for me either.

So Missus tried Zelda a while back, didnt get on with it. Tried again last week and cant put it down. So now I want another switch but we now both have 40+ hour saves on that switch. I hope Ninty release cloud saves at E3.
Still not looked into the other games available yet as Zelda is more than taking up our time, although we have Lego undercover and MK8 too.
I love the system more than I thought I would, had to drive somewhere over weekend and it was just like commercial just before we were leaving she was playing Zelda, got up attached joy cons and continued to play for the hours car journey.

If I've already got Zelda on the Wii U (and have sunk about 20 hours into it, so won't be starting again on the Switch), is it worth picking up a Switch at present? I wasn't intending to until the end of the year, but I just kind of...want one!
As desperately as I want to play Zelda I'm just not sold on the Switch as a portable games console. The controls feel awkward and uncomfortable and in my view, it's just too bulky. I want more Nintendo exclusive games (Galaxy and Metroid etc) and perhaps with the next consumer release, some of these other concerns will be addressed.

Feels much better than the 3DS for me, I have fairly large hands and Switch doesn't give me cramps like the 3DS did. Since getting used to the initial feel in portable it's quite comfortable and doesn't really feel restricted at all.
I don't find it bulky personally, it's kinda slim for what it is and is the size of a small tablet. I mean sure you can't really keep it in your pocket, but generally I find it an easy device to handle.

I just wish it had a smaller footprint and be truly pocket portable. I know a few individuals scoffed at the 3DS XL but I thought it perfect for what it was. As I say, I do want one but I think I'll wait for the second revision to decide.
See to me if it was THAT small it would be too small to be a home console.
That in a nut-shell was and continues to be my main gripe with it. It's neither one or the other.
I had hoped the next portable incarnation would have been a truly portable handheld as opposed to this hybrid, which granted clearly works for the majority. As you say It's just a personal view.

Considering its a Nintendo Direct, I'd guess that to be likely. If they announced a Pokemon for the Switch I think the internet would literally implode 
But also, interestingly. If this is the case, announcing it BEFORE E3 and this close as well? They're building E3 up to something big.
