I saw a video on YouTube saying to avoid the wheel.

Side note. I've been tricked into going to the hair salon again, but this time I'm Switchless :(
 
Off for a week camping so looking to get a game or two for the switch, so looked on the eshop and after peoples thoughts on this list

Infinite Minigolf

So which would you pick from that list? Already have Zelda, MK8 and Bomberman

If you don't have it already on another platform I'd definitely get shovel Knight. Its a fantastic game!

I'm almost tempted to buy it again even though I already have it on pc :)

For some mp camping fun you can't go wrong with Overcooked! Me and the Mrs play it on pc and it's great fun!!

Tempted by retro city or Shovel knight myself.

Shovelknight for single player and overcooked for multiplayer.
 
Dragon Quest Builders 2 coming to switch. The first was a PS4/Vita exclusive so this is good news. Sort of a mix of Minecraft and a JRPG, first was really well received and it will be the perfect fit as a portable switch game imo.

I don't play anything locally so from my own experience from a single player point of view I'd definitely go for Shovel Knight. Depends if you like retro platformers though I guess. For shoot em up high score runs a la Resogun I really liked Graceful Explosion Machine. Also I'd recommend Cave Story if you've never played it. And GoNNeR love it so much. It's nails though.

I purchased Infinite Minigolf.. and regret it. Really nice looking graphics but the controls are awful and twitchy. The game modes are so bland. It feels like an unfinished game.

Avoid this.
 
Tomorrow is one week without the Switch. I had a confirmation on Monday that Nintendo have it. Hopefully repair won't take too long.

Can't believe how much of a gap this console has been filling for me!!
