USB C to C better than USB C to USB?
No difference, it depends on the connections your power bank has.
USB to USB-C will plug into way more devices to draw power than USB-C to USB-C will though. This is the type that comes with the Switch's Pro controller and other accessories.

booooo my dock appears to have died
Best number to call Nintendo to call them to get them to swap it?
Either that or swallow the pain of buying a new dock. There are cheaper 3rd party docks out there though...
My replacement Switch arrived and all is good hardware wise! Some serious time has been sunk into Zelda over the last few days and it's comfortably the best open world game I've played. Stunning. There is one big problem, however - my Nintendo account is linked to the dead Switch and despite logging numerous tickets with Nintendo they can't find a way of unlocking it. Meaning I can't download the games I've purchased or buy any new ones! This has been going on for almost two weeks now.
If you got it replaced by Nintendo they should have transferred your account across.
Why would you even consider buying a new one when the existing one is well within the warranty?
Just call them up and get it repaired/replaced.

Finished my sonic play of sonic mania last night. Got the emeralds too which I think gave me a different ending
Really good game I love playing on Switch!
Tempted still by shovel knight having never played it but it seems quite pricey to me
Not touched splatoon since the first week maybe I should try more there, I lived it but since stopping I haven't felt compelled to play more and I have so much more to see

I binged on Splatoon 1 but as soon as I stopped playing daily I never touched it again.
Shovel Knight is fantastic. Remember that all DLC is included in that price.

You get a lot of Shovel Knight for the price. It's well worth it.
I generally play the platformers (Shovel Knight, Sonic, Cave Story etc when I am out and about but docked I'm never going to stop playing Splatoon 2! Perhaps when Mario Odyssey is released..
I read that the Pokken Tournament DX demo is out today? Might give that a try.
Not sure about Mario+Rabbids - I'll see how it reviews but I'm not sure it's for me.
So yeah other than Mario there isn't that much on the immediate horizon that I am after. I'll go back to Zelda though when the next DLC drops. In the mean time Splatoon has its hooks in me.
