To be honest I usually stick to the usual crowd of fps or 3rd person AAA games - mainly because they're the most accessible to get into. I haven't had a Nintendo since the SNES

I've been playing the usual AAA for years. Switch is my first Nintendo since the Gamecube, and I've found it a really refreshing change....

The switch for me has replaced my Xbox and Ps4, which are both sat gathering dust. My PC is for AAA and the rest go on the switch. I'm a huge fan of indy games and being able to play them in bed is a great thing for me.

That makes sense. BotW is not really a Zelda game so people who aren't a fan of the traditional games might like it.

Yeah I've never really been fussed for Zelda games in the past - but BotW definitely seems like something I would like.

BOTW is amazing and everyone should play it. It astounding that a game without a strong core narrative can be so utterly engrossing and brilliant simply due to the world they have created.

And the great thing - arguably the best AAA games are on the Switch too. Nothing on the PC has come close to BoTW for me in years, and judging by the Edge review, the same will be true of Mario. Follow up with a killer Metroid Prime - soooo hyped for this - and all bases covered!

After Mario, the switch would have had and kept up a great momentum. I do wonder that may slow down somewhat in the new year. I would be happy for gaps to be filled with more updated Wii U ports etc but can any line up really compete with Mario, Zelda and mk8 ?

Superbeat: Xonic Launches for Switch in November

PM Studios announced Superbeat: Xonic will launch for the Nintendo Switch physically and digitally in North America on November 21, and digitally in Europe on November 30. A physical release will follow in Europe on December 8.

The game will feature 65 songs and seven additional tracks available for free via DLC on release date. This includes:

SO I am a bit annoyed. Yesterday I got a call from worten.pt who are the company I pre-ordered Odyssey through saying that there was an issue with their computer system, they needed to cancel my order and asked if I could re-order it. I said sure no problem. Last night, I went on the website. and tried to put the same order through. it still had the pre-order discount and free cappy. But the website wouldn't process it. Ok no problems.

Well screw them. I originally ordered due to the silly free cappy, but I am not paying €20 for it and the game is on a discounted offer from other stores still, so I've ordered it elsewhere now.

How much are you paying for Mario? It's 45 EUR (12% less for me) on Amazon France for the digital game.

Tbh I wouldn't be heartbroken if we got ports of some last gen console titles, things like Borderlands, batman arkham etc... The switch should be more then capable of doing them justice.

Plus anything new they come up with...they've got a good well accepted platform now. They've got the best reason to keep growing it.

Metroid's the big one - they have to nail it! As long as they keep the focus on exploration and scanning ancient worlds and dead cities, it'll be all good. A new Wave Race, 1080 and F-Zero would be welcome too!
