I really want a set of Splatoon 2 joy cons "just because" but have trouble justifying it considering we've done 2 player at the most so far. One day I'll get Mario Kart or something else thats a popular 4 player and then buy them

They haven't implemented it yet because they didn't want it to be used as a gateway into piracy.
Now the cat's out of the bag on that they have no excuse anymore.

I really want the Mario non-neon red ones though. Once Nintendo allow save transfers I will get a new Switch with those ones.You need to get Overcooked and some (soon to be ex) friends round. Bomberman, Snipperclips and Death Squared are excellent too for 4 players.
Except Splatoon, where the split joycons are a lot better.

We have death squared. We're about 2 3rds of the way through the main story...we just haven't had much time to do the 2 player ones. Although we recently made some new work friends who we're fairly sure are quite geeky/gamers and they moved close by last week. And have already spoken about movie nights etc. So the need for extra joy cons may come up soon!
If it becomes a thing, Overcooked will be straight on the to buy list.
4 player Death Squared looks like it make or break friendships.

Owww dayum. Been playing some Splat Zones tonight. Have gone up to C+ and secured my rank in case I get de-ranked, fortunately. I am close to lvl 13, didn't bother for 12 but at 13 I'll take another look at the stores and see about some potential upgrades. Although what I have now is working well for me.
On are lounge TV Netflix and amazon prime was always watched by using the wii U...
As it Only has 2 HDMI ports and the sky box uses one of them and the kids loved using the Wii U for watching there kids movies on netflix
My bedroom TV and kitchen TV uses an amazon fire stick & fire TV

Yeah I wasn't being entirely serious Glad they are supporting it and I am very interested to see how Wolfenstein works out next year.
I've played through both Doom and Skyrim before so I'm not sure if I'll double dip. Tempted by Skyrim but hmm I don't know yet.
I imagine Odyssey will be all consuming around then anyway so everything else is going to have to wait.

I've played so much skyrim on PC I couldn't contemplate playing through it again. Likewise having finished the single player doom campaign I don't see the appeal of playing through again. Especially given how poor the multiplayer was.
Nice to have the opportunity to play them if you haven't before though. However unless you're a Nintendo only die hard chances are if you had even a passing interest in either you've probably played them already.
