*** Nintendo Switch ***

I had one of those 1st I don't like the material of it , makes your hand sweat , the Mumba one is a much better material and makes the switch a lot more sturdy in handheld the orzly one is like a silicon case though so it's quite slippery, just my opinion though :D

Ahh the right person to ask then! Didn't realise it was that sort of material. So does the mumba one feel better to play over all? More comfortable to hold while playing etc? Just looks an odd shape where as the Orzly looks more like a conventional grip if that makes sense

My switch is arriving today, got the prime deal with Mario Odyssey and the pro controller.

Took a bit off with the student deal and added an £80 gift card to get the £10 off my next shop. Took it down to effectively costing £305!

Overall the Mumba one feels a lot better there's more grip , it actually holds the joy cons in place too and adds a slight bulk to the joy-cons , so it feels more like an ordinary controller , the orzly one for me was just too flimsy , it does feel more like a controller but doesn't at the same time as it's more like a silicon you find on phone cases etc so I just found it slippery and my hands started to sweat after short periods of play. Imo the Mumba is a lot better when playing for longer periods in handheld, I can't play without it now. The only downside is it adds a little bit of weight but it just feels solid so doesn't bother me and my hands don't cramp up after a half hour of play :D

Thanks! I had already ordered the lesser one :) but will see how it goes. If I don't get on with it, I shall attempt to return it and grab this one instead!

Does anyone here use those silly looking caps for your sticks?

Has anyone used their switch with one of those 'goose neck' holder things? Any recommendations as there is quite a huge choice on Amazon. Quite fancy getting one to use at night in the bedroom *giggidy*

Is it just a extension cable? Or is it a adapter that has ports to hdmi?

You will need to plug the extension cable into your dock.

Personally I would just make a 3D printed dock that is modified to accommodate your case, as I have done for a naked Switch. The extension cable is a lot easier though which is why I recommend it for other people.

So essentially its just type-c(dock) to type-c(switch) which if that's what you're saying then it makes more sense to me than other methods i've seen online, I have seen few people running issues using usb-c+hdmi adapter with the switch which makes them not work anymore due to newer firmware.
