On that subject, does anyone tend to use the motion sensor controls for MK8, or does everyone use the joystick?

It has to be joystick surely?! I don't know how anyone plays competitively using the motion sensor.

How is a single joy con for MK8 multiplayer? I don't fancy spending £60-80 for a pro controller/second set of joycons to play with my brother but if needs must...

If you can, I would recommend getting a pro controller, it's miles better than using a single joycon and still miles better than using the two joycons in the controller dock.

I've heard people mention the price of the pro controller until they try it. It's a seriously good bit of kit

I bought it a physical copy at full whack but I think £15 would shift more than twice the amount as it would at £30. It's a great game and at £15 I think so many people would buy it.

Checked over my Switch properly. Nice and straight and the joy cons are solid on the console as well. Haven't done a distance test with the joy cons yet but I am yet to disconnect them and try it on the big screen

Screen protector fitted, just linked accounts, and installing some demos from the e-shop

Looking forward to trying this all out properly on the big screen shortly.

Playing Trials from the BoTW DLC. Finished the first level but medium I got wrecked. Fun though.

It's nice to go back for a bit of slower pace after the stressfulness of ARMS!

I bought the official steering wheel surrounds, have pro pad and another set of joy cons but the motion controls are pretty fun, much easier for my daughter with all the steering aids enabled too.
