*** Nintendo Switch ***

You really don't need any interest in golf for Golf Story, it's just a fun game with very simple golf mechanics and lots of character.

The Mexican Switch store isn't allowing me to add my MasterCard as an option to pay, anyone else tried it?

Doesn't work for me either, I think it's rare that European cards work for American eshops.

I guess I could try another card but this particular MasterCard was my Halifax which doesn't charge a fee for foreign transactions.

Ah well!

Edit - bought on the UK Store, loving it so far. First time I've played Stardew.

So has anyone played stardew on Switch yet? The kotaku article about the controls had me feeling better about it but then I saw a few on reddit mention it's just as awkward as playing the pc one with the controller and cursor etc

I've not played any other version than the Switch and it seems to be working fine for me control wise. Nothing to worry about IMO.

The only issue I've encountered so far is the long save times.

I already have 4 games that I have never played. I really should wait for discounts.

;) it's just good to see. Nice to support them either way too.

I'm hoping to wrap up golf story today/tomorrow and then start stardew.

I went from not playing my switch since finishing Zelda at launch to coming back for the shrines, then Mario and rabbids came out and now all this.

I must admit I was really enjoying rabbids but for some reason I haven't carried on! I wasn't far in either

It's why I try to stick to a policy of "complete a game before buying a new one"

Unless there is a good discount involved. I paid €11 for Snake Pass. There are games around now that I want and coming out over the next weeks as well. Hoping a discount appears on one of them to get and tide me over until Mario. I'll probably finish Snake Pass off within a week!

With the bigger releases as well, the retailers here do 10-20% discount if you pre-order...I am a sucker for that. It makes economical sense in the long run though :p

Plus...I got a free cappy cap coming! :D

I just buy them (indies or digital only) when they come out and give them a go when I feel like it.

On holiday I deleted my snake pass save and restarted it. Had a great time with it and I'm now up to the last area. Then yesterday for airports and flying I went back to Mario+Rabbids which I want to complete before Mario Odyssey comes out.

When I bought the Switch I didn't think I'd use it as a portable that much but I think I'm around 50/50 docked/portable.

I need to only play one game at a time because I will need to replace the switch at some point and I will lose all my save data.

Good luck on snake pass. I was defeated and gave up getting all the coins and bubbles, which is unfortunately where the game really shines.

I have now played 175 hours of splatoon, which helps to explain why I never play single player games at the moment.
