*** Nintendo Switch ***

I just buy them (indies or digital only) when they come out and give them a go when I feel like it.

On holiday I deleted my snake pass save and restarted it. Had a great time with it and I'm now up to the last area. Then yesterday for airports and flying I went back to Mario+Rabbids which I want to complete before Mario Odyssey comes out.

When I bought the Switch I didn't think I'd use it as a portable that much but I think I'm around 50/50 docked/portable.

I'm about 80% portable but that's because I play it mostly in bed :D

I finished Mario+Rabbids with a view of selling it on but the stuff that opens up at end game is pretty cool so I think I'll be playing through that for a little while yet. Such an unexpected pleasure this game. 35+ hours so far.

The camera almost ruins the game. It's infuriating wrestling with the camera as much as the platforms.
Completely agree. If the rest of the game wasnt so good and full of charm I would have binned it by now because of the camera.

It's a shame as I heard that since release and it's an issue for me in games. Would you say the game is worth a shot to try and see past such shenanigans?

Bought stardew but haven't started it yet, do want to finish golf story first. First half of this game was great and most aspects are still good but I feel it's starting to feel a bit long in the tooth for what it is. Sometimes I think devs think adding more hours to a game makes for a better experiance.

Not fair to say that's the case here but some parts are feeling a little padded now unfortunately. It's not the worst example of this. Just tasks are sort of repeating but with a few minor changes. I'm about 12 hours in so hopefully I can wrap it up soon

I bought it on discount. I'd wait for that again. :)

Cracking game. Terrible camera though.

It's so easy to fix too. I think they didn't allow transparent textures to avoid seeing some of the hidden collectables.

I need to only play one game at a time because I will need to replace the switch at some point and I will lose all my save data.

Good luck on snake pass. I was defeated and gave up getting all the coins and bubbles, which is unfortunately where the game really shines.

I have now played 175 hours of splatoon, which helps to explain why I never play single player games at the moment.
How is that even possible. That's like.... 2 hours a day average since it came out!

Started stardew briefly. Seems to work well. Saving the game takes a really long time compared to other games, hopefully this can be patched.

The controls are ok. The are certainly functional and I think in time I won't have an issue but will take some getting used to!

The fishing mini game is still a bit tough but maybe it gets easier ad the fishing skill levels up
