*** Nintendo Switch ***

Got Rayman Legends today and had a quick blast. Rayman games kinda passed me by previously, enjoying it so far. The slightly weird darker French humour is a nice counterpoint to the super-twee Nintendo stuff.

It's a far better game than the 2D Mario games, and it's on par with the incredible last two Donkey Kong games.

Currently saving up for a switch for in time for Xmas as I want to have an amazing Xmas day like I had when I was a kid and got a SNES, best Christmas ever.
Questions

1. Does it ever have to be connected to a TV, so if I opened the box up on Xmas day charged it and went straight to handheld mode I could treat like a 3ds?

2. I remember someone's partner on here making awesome Zelda bags for it, she still doing it?

3. Any must have accessories?

Questions

-can be used as a handheld, doesn't need to be plugged into a TV.

2. I remember someone's partner on here making awesome Zelda bags for it, she still doing it?

-you probably mean the 'sock' that protects the dock from scratching the screen. They are still available.

3. Any must have accessories?

-IMO a good carry case and a pro controller

You don't have to dock it you can just play it handheld.

Lakitu's other half makes them. Not sure if she still does.

Accessories up to you. Definitely a tempered glass screen protector. SD card if you plan on buying non-indie games digitally. The pro controller is great but you'll only want it if you do hook it up to the TV. Carry case? Battery pack?

Couldn't wait, ended up buying a Switch new for £264.99 on the bay seeing as that was the cheapest I could find. Now to wait until I can collect tomorrow!

A good few hours into Skyrim now and really enjoying it. It runs and looks great on Switch with no issues so far it looks similar to how I remember it on Xbox. It amazes me how well this thing handles games. Tbh I have been using this more than my One X at the moment.
