*** Nintendo Switch ***

Lot's of gushing in this thread. Not that it's a bad thing, its the only Nintendo console I've enjoyed since the SNES.

Purchased !! :D
You not got xc2 yet ?

Good man!

Na, don't think it's my kind of game to be honest :) - I might pick it up 2nd hand in a year or so but I still have Mario to finish and now BOTW DLC to play. So I'm good for now :D

I'm also waiting for a Nintendo direct in Jan to see what other new games get announced.

Skyrim and Zelda both have the same problems for me personally. Lovely but empty feeling worlds, samey enemies and dungeons don't really feel distinct outside of a few bigger ones. Combat is better in Zelda but that's not much of a feat let's be real. Both enjoyable games that I sunk 50 hours in, but neither more than an 8/10 from me.

Yeah I can see where you're coming from. No way I'll spend as much time on Zelda as I did Skyrim but I think the attention to detail in Zelda is above and beyond Skyrim. Like even the way wildlife reacts, the little touches Nintendo add that are rarely seen elsewhere.

I wanted to buy skyrim and XC2 but I still haven't completed Zelda yet, I just keep getting side tracked when going to the next quest. I tend to climbing every peak insight to see what's on top, then I spot twenty other places I want to explore.... Keep on going.

I never had enough markers for the map in Zelda. Even 500 wouldn't have been enough.

Don't really use markers just run around until I'm bore, I have only done the first divine beast any idea how long the game is after beating all 4 beasts?
You can beat the game in around 2 hours from the time you first leave the initial cave.

So I had my system replaced by Nintendo and completely forgot to deactive my account on the old one meaning I can't make purchases on the eshop.

Anyone know who to contact/which number to get this sorted?
I think the online Nintendo store would mainly be hardware issues and anything else seems to point me to overseas numbers..

That seems crazy to me.

I had my own "in my head" marker system which worked well. The map with 500 markers plus all the shrines etc sounds like a pure headache.

You need a better system :p

The markers mean you never miss anything. Open a new area of the map, zoom in and place markers on anything that looks suspicious or interesting.

How do you think I got 600 koroks before they released the cheat mask thing.

I'd just place markers on named landmarks or in-between landmarks for places I knew I hadn't fully explored, then later spend time fully covering those areas before removing the marker. Memory did the rest.

I hit 700 seeds before getting the expansion, but I did clock 300 hours in the process... :o

I have been enjoying Steamworld Dig 2 , but coming to the end of it now I think, So I need to queue up something to be the next game.
Does anyone have any suggestions for something in the same vein?

I liked the gear progression of Steamworld, simple, but vastly changed how you played the game. Anything similar on the E-shop?
