Don't think I've ever had a flight go as quick as the one today, started Skyrim, next thing you know im landing after 4 1/2 hours! This and xc2 and Mario will keep me entertained for a while anyway! If they keep releasing games in this manner it will end up like a steam back log of games to get through!

I bought a switch, played with it for 3 hours (Odyssey).

Its the real deal. The portability, the hardware, how intuitive it is, the fact its portable so I can actually complete all my games - its a dream.

Easily my favorite console.

I can only hope STEAM or some form of PC manufacturer release a device as intuitive as this (and at a similar price point.. ok, even if its 2x the price) but with a bigger screen as I'd love to play my PC titles on it.

Same happened to me on Saturday. Plane takes off, boot up Skyrim, plane lands. Love it :)

How're you finding the battery usage with Skyrim. I've noticed that Mario is the most battery intensive game so far in my experience.

It's pretty decent actually. Nothing as battery sapping as Zelda or Mario. I think mine was around 50% after playing at the airport and on the plane for 4 hours or so.

And did the battery last for the duration?! I've got a long flight on friday!

No it didn't, but I was playing in table top mode with a pro controller and at full brightness haha it did pretty well though and I have the anker battery bank so could just keep playing anyway , had to pick it up though as I've not got that hori stand yet think I will get that when I'm back :)

Ahhh ok, payday tomorrow so I'll order a battery pack :)

I ordered the Hori stand because I prefer using the pro controller than the joycons, just waiting for arrival now.

I am tempted to get Doom as well, I have it on the PC but there is a massive novelty playing this on the move so really having to hold back because I am spending too much time on Skyrim to really justify the expense.

I've got Odyssey and keep forgetting about it! I'm a bad person.

Bought the Zelda DLC which so far is not what I'd hoped (not tried the two main challenges from DLC1/2 yet however), but it has meant I've rediscovered a world I enjoyed exploring. Even realised I'd missed the Spring of Courage - the world is so big it's easy to miss things!

ARMS gets a good use, I really do love it. Now play Misango - just prefer him to Kid Cobra. Ranked up to 7 quite easily, but a million miles off the best players yet.

Splatoon is woefully neglected by me, purely because I prefer it on the TV with the joycon grip for motion controls and I don't get the opportunities on it I should.

It gets neglected from me because I treat it like an "in between" game. So when I am without one big title to the next. :p

I do love it when I play it though. I should put more time to it. Mario is getting all my attention right now though.

That's actually quite a good point.

I find that if I'm not playing ARMS or SFV with regularity, I can't keep up or I don't improve. I end up playing them the most, which means even the single player games I have like Mario, Zelda (DLC) and Uncharted 4 have just been left. I need to actually just do some SP games, because I'll sit on them for hours and thoroughly enjoy them, but I'm a slave to my FG training... Splatoon is a casualty of this too!

Rocket League on Switch: Gameplay is Golden, But What About Graphics?

Another current-gen PS4 and Xbox One title makes its way to Switch. Rocket League is renowned for its super-slick 60fps gameplay. Does that hold true for the Switch version, and to what extent are visuals compromised as a result?
