*** Nintendo Switch ***

Rainway! Nice been waiting for this. I really hope it's as good as the moonlight app I have used on iOS.

Worries me still that it uses a web browser tbh. Have Nintendo given the official go ahead then? I still struggle to see them letting it happen if not.

One reason I can't see it is say often a game on steam is dirt cheap. Doom for example and even Skyrim. Why would they want you to stream it rather than pay their £40-50 asking price?

Because not everyone has a PC they can stream it from?

For me to take advantage of rainway on the Switch it would likely cost me around a grand to build a system. And its something I would seldom use anyway.

No but still why lose the sale of a game to a potential buyer I dunno it's odd. I want it don't get me wrong, could certainly make use of it but we will see. Nintendo and the others are usually quite protective over this sort of stuff. Also I'm not in the know but such a thing could open the system up to potential hacks etc? Not sure

We will see! If it happens that's great news but I just can't see it.

An example, darkest dungeon is out soon and I would buy it to play on the sofa, but now I wonder if I should bother if I can stream it soon at no cost. Obviously at home only but that's my use case for the switch anyways :D

It will be rubbish when away from home. Input lag sucks.

Oh absolutely but as I was saying I would only use it at home anyways. Anyone expecting it to work well outside the home network may be in for a sad time :(

I used moonlight for JRPGS and 2d indie style games etc. Would never stream anything more precise like a shooter. Even the slightest delay is too much imo

For me I want to give the demo of DragonQuest Builders a go. Kirby looks oddly good  - the Odyssey DLC seems a bit meh!

Payday 2 looks a lot of fun. Fe looks stunning. Is DK Tropical Freeze worth it guys? :)

Thanks Phate.

I'll give the DQ Builders demo a go as well. Kirby game looks fun so I'll keep an eye on that. I don't know a lot about Hyrule Warriors though I seem to remember it being a bit of a marmite game. Ys games seem to be well received though I've never played one. Payday 2 maybe. Fe looks interesting. DKC: TF and DS will keep me more than occupied for the foreseeable (alongside Bayonetta 1 and 2!). I am happy with this mini Direct :)

Apparently Dark souls 2 and 3 will be coming eventually too! Im pretty astounded to be fair! Might wait getting it on my Xbox until the switch version comes!
