*** Nintendo Switch ***

Yeah I agree on this. The beauty of the switch is that it's a pure games console. It's not a jack of all trades.
Please don't turn it into a media tablet. Really don't want stuff like a web browser, netflix etc etc.... In fact, I don't even want that social media crud. Basic menu to get me into the games will do thanks.

I have an xbox x, and the OS is a total disaster.

totally agree, i dont use it on the ps4 and 100% dont want it on the switch

VC will get its own direct or something. Friends system will likely come with the Sept online system, which will probably also include cloud saves. With cloud saves I don't see the need to backup to an external SD card, personally.

The Switch UI is very, err, Nintendo. It's functional but not as frictionless as it could be. Whist I appreciate a pure gaming machine having apps for Netflix etc is fine by me, as long as they are optional and install to the ribbon like games

Oh and are cloud backup of game saves anywhere closer than they were launch? That's a must in this day and age.

The only additions I want are folders and the Virtual Console.

It's frustrating that every company delays folders until a few years after the console launch. I do not want my games sorted by last played date.

That will come with the paid online service, along with the Virtual Console.

I just want the VC, thought it would be out by now, there is literally hundreds of hours of gaming to be had on there, plus easy money for Nintendo.

I haven’t picked up my switch for a few weeks. Finished Zelda and Mario. So far no other real JRPG or RPG except chronicles which just didn’t click for me.

So I was hoping for VC for windwaker etc.

To be honest though, when I first started on XenoBlade 2 I also thought it was slow and boring as it was just seem to me a slow paced auto-attacking enemies till it drop dead without much input from myself...it was until after may be after 40 hours in that you get more party members, that you start to realise how complex the battle system really is. I am still learning how to increase my damage output with all the Combos, Chain Attacks, Elemental breaks etc...it is certainly not an action rpg, but not a turn-based rpg neither but is something quite different that you have to constantly have to think and plan ahead, move around to for increasing the damage output...similar to the good old real-time strategy in a sense.

Ah yes, WW HD is so good.

I can't say I'm too bothered about virtual console, but I'd certainly be into playing some HD remasters of classic GC & Wii games (fzero gx, paper Mario, blue storm, mario galaxy, sin & punishment 2 etc).

Okay need to play this thing as its just collecting dust. Other than Mario, Zelda and Chronicles any other games which really immerse you? dont think any more RPG's etc at the moment. :(

Guessing you've already played Skyrim?
Mario and rabbids is surprisingly good
Dark souls out in a month and a half :)

Ah, you guys are putting me off just as I've seen a one going local, barely used with the receipt for £250 including Mario Odessey and Zelda.

Mario and Zelda can give you a good 200 hours, however after that im struggling..... Its worth it for those games alone, but personally just now cant find anything to play

There are plenty of games around...it just depends on what you like! I am fast approaching 30hrs on Stardew Valley...a cheap indie game! :D

Although granted, I never played it before.
