*** Nintendo Switch ***

Picked up the Labo variety kit to build with my 7 year old daughter, only done the RC car but great fun so far. Yes it is just cardboard but even the basic RC car is really quite cool with the IR and UV modes. Anything that gives me more time with my little one is precious for me :)

Long shot but wondering whether you might be able to help me identify a game.

I was stood watching a chap on the tube playing what appeared to be a Doom like game. Lots of movement on screen, a gun in the bottom of the screen and shooting anything that moved. However, there appeared to be arrows that illuminated on the target/sight that i presume directed him towards the next target.

The player had headphones on and was very engrossed in the game, so i didn't bother disturbing him to ask what the game was. Stupid really, as it looked good.

Not sure. It could be Doom. If you shoot enemies to a certain amount of health they are stunned and glow (illuminate?) for a time allowing you to hit them with a melee move.

I think I'm edging towards Doom, given the gun in the bottom of the screen, which MGoF doesn't look to have.

Does Doom indicate with arrows or highlighted sights where the next target is?

Just got a £50 refund from my car tax and itching to spend it on something for the switch... Whats peoples thoughts on kirby?

Most here were put off by the incredibly easy demo. It looks cool and has a ton of charm but I don't think it's aimed at adults. I was looking forward to getting it but the demo wasn't great. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze next Friday. If you haven't played that then I'd get that instead. ONE MORE WEEK!
