*** Nintendo Switch ***

I will probably pick up Pikmin 3 when its about half price. I really really don't like giving companies full price for sticking some old game + DLC and a few little QoL updates into a new package and charging full price. At least make the basic effort to make it higher res or higher FPS or something that take more than a token effort.

Yeah, I find it annoying. I bought a Wii U a couple of years ago for around £80 and most of the games can be had for around £10. That's a better option than letting Nintendo gouge us £50 for what are basically +DLC content packs of old titles!

I get why they did it but I can't help but feel many of the Wii U titles should really be budget/discounted titles rather than full price releases on switch.

What a great few weeks it has been, Mario 64 has been keeping me occupied and it's been an enjoyable trip down memory lane, I've never played Sunshine or Galaxy so looking forward to those once I 100% SM64.
I thought I would have finished it by now, but I downloaded Hades and that has been the last 2 weeks of my life gone, epic epic game, absolutely loving it.

Its consistently in the top 10, I the current one is bought with every other console sold. They're making so much money from it, I cannot see them releasing another just yet.

This has been the longest Mario Kart drought in history.

Where is my Mario Kart 9?!

We won’t get one this generation. The port of MK8 is it. As phage says, they are printing money with a lazy rehash so why release another one.

Haven't played on the Switch in a while; purchased Link's Awakening and Super Mario Bros U Deluxe.

Code FNDDGAME at Currys got me £5 off each, bringing them to £31.99 each.

Really enjoyed links awakening and super mario bros U was decent.

Have a feeling one of my joycons has died. The other week I had a weird issue where the right controller showed as disconnected while they were both attached to the Switch, which went away after a power off and restart. Yesterday I picked it up and the right controller is dead. Console and left controller both on full battery, right seemingly has none as when disconnected I can't get the sync lights to show up no matter what I do. Tried reseating the controller on the console a few times and leaving it to charge but no luck. Also got me thinking how do they charge when attached to the console? Can't see any charging connectors anywhere

Unless anyone has any suggestions I'm thinking it's going to be a case of contacting Nintendo for a replacement

Bought ni no kuni for £8 a couple days ago, had it on PS3 but never finished it. Great game, love some jrpg goodness.

Just caved on Hades with its discount plus I used my gold coins to knock it down a bit. Think I better not touch it till I finish the other game first.
