Nissan GTR Owners and Lovers Thread

jesus wept.. that is the finest looking motor ive ever seen. i want :(

what does the torque feel like in one of these things??

I thought my 350z was nippy at 305bhp but 620+ is just nuts! You really do get pushed back into the seat when you put your foot down, so much fun. I can see my mpg being rather low the first few months :D

Yesterday I was fortunate to be taking out by a friend of mine in his 2013 Nissan GT-R. The performance, handling and entire package is absolutely amazing! I thought my 310bhp/380lb/ft Focus ST pinned you back in your seat but the GT-R with launch control was in a completely different league.

As you know JP, I'm no longer an owner but had 2 GTR's, an '09 followed by a new '13 that I kept for 3 months. Superb cars, I do sometimes miss it but a quick glance into the garage soon makes that feeling go away :p

Both of mine had exhausts done and the '09 had a Cobb Accessport and stage 2 tune.

The red one is the older one, white one is the '13. It's actually a pearl white but my camera refused to pick that up.

One thing I love about having moved to the US is how easy it is to get awesome private plates for nothing :D

My new plate just arrived for my Aston Martin too, I'll get some pics up shortly as I think you're going to love it.

The thread is for lovers also ;) and I know there will be more owners in the future!

Love your cars iceman, past and present (forgetting the Ferrari :p).

lol @ itsagtr plate on the aston.

is that a shelby in the garage too?

more info required tbh.

Plate will be changed this week, don't worry, there's something pretty cool going on it.

Yes that's a 2013 Shelby (662hp). It's an absolute beast, great fun to drive.

Iceman, your garage alone is enough to make me leave the UK and practice medicine away from the UK.

There is so much win in the pic you have posted, i am actually speechless!! :D

Only because of F1 and being brought up as a McLaren supporter.

For me it is like football rivalry between the teams and there is something about their supporters and the majority of the road car owners that really irritates me :p

Since you have had Ferrari, Lamborghini and now McLaren you don't fall into that camp ;)

This is a typical Ferrari fan in my eyes :D

LOL, well, the Lambo wasn't mine, that was my Father's back in the UK. Interior needs some serious updating though, I just can't justify $200-$250k on a Gallardo over here, they're simply not worth it.

Dave

Sod these GTR's we need a dedicated thread on that a shelby! Are they still using a cast iron block and live axle on the 2013. How do you find acceleration compared to GTR, handling / grip? Come on more on the Shelby and a video clip of it starting and revving please. :D
