Yep, I've been on media blackout for a good while now. Seen enough to know it's a game I want to play and since it's a game about discovery and exploration, I'd rather experience those things on my own with no preconceived notions.

Mine says the 12th, but I see conflicting reports. Some say worldwide the 12th, some say Europe getting it on the 10th.

I dont understand why folks are pre-ordering. What is there to gain instead of buying on release day and wait for impressions first?

You get an upgraded ship to start with if you pre-order....

I'm going to be playing on day 1 anyway, but for me it's basically the game I've wanted to play(along with SC & Elite: Dangerous when you can finally land on any planet) since I first played a speccy 48k. So I'm taking a leap of faith & ordering it.

I think he means once you get playing the game, you will probably obtain a ship better than the preorder bonus fairly soon any way

I've seen enough to know I want the game, and I don't want to see any more footage. I'll pre-order next weekend probably just so it's all downloaded ready for release day.
