No Man's Sky

I'm on some planet that keeps trying to kill me Radiation storms every few minuets, big looking dinosaur aliens and the sentinels are harsh, but is so rich in resources! Got to risk it for biscuit.

It would be good if the entire planet could be mined, even if the ordinary ground gave no resource. You'd be able to mine your own tunnels and carve out a underground safe zone to wait out storms.

Typical, spend all my money upgrading my suit to 48 slots, then I start seeing amazing looking ships which I can no longer afford!! :p

This game seems very underwhelming from the videos I've seen. It really reminds me of Spore. A game that was hyped and promised endless potential, but then completely failed to deliver it.

I mean beyond endless mining and upgrading, what's the point? Can we build our own colonies? Can we buy capital ships? Can we build space stations of our own? Can we terraform lifeless planets and develop its ecosystem and the life that lives on it?

So many things they could have done with a game like this. Its disappointing and I will not shell out £40+ on a game like this.

Have a look at the proposed updates, much of that is in the next free update. At the moment its like Vanilla W.O.W, and it looks like in 6-12 months it could be quite a different game. This is pretty much as described with a few more bits that we didn't know about and some systems not working or removed after focus testing.

Well when they add that stuff to the game I'll give it another look.

Man the PC thread cracked me up :D - you can feel the worry about hitting the 2 hour limit :p

Played it on PS4 and PC, enjoyed both. Had no crashes. Not found a single decent planet on PC mind :p, they're all wastelands :(.

:( I can see why that happens, how many planets have you visited?

The fact that there is nothing to do is what I love most about this game, as odd as that sounds. I love that there is no pressure to have to do anything, to keep up with my friends or quests/side missions to get overwhelmed with. It's literally as little or as much as you like.

I've been kept busy mining for a good ship, I keep seeing 40 slot ships come to the large trading post on the planet I'm on for 5 million units, I'm basically there so once I've upgraded to that, I'll be warping to the next system. Still in search for those rare elements for more money! I love scanning new planets as well, finding out the conditions and the life found on it then going out looking for it, this planet I'm on now has 2 species and that's it, I'm yet to see either but keep hearing them at night, and getting tremors to suggest they are underground

40 slot ship for 5 million? WHERE???? I want.

Scummy conjob Gek trying to flog me a 28 slotter for 8m.

Wow, some of the Steam reviews are amazing lol

Completely ripping this game to shreds!

It deserves it though, releasing a game in this state and charging full price for an indie game is crazy. It should be £20-25 max and then only if it actually worked properly and delivered on what the Devs had said which at the moment looks like they have just lied (I'll wait for 2 people to actually meet and see each other before I change that statement).

Keep getting what I think is a very annoying bug.

Hold R2 to take off from a planet..... it jettisons me directly into the atmosphere in space.

Is that a bug? It's seriously annoying. Totally lose track of where you've been exploring.
