No Man's Sky

3 warps attempts, 3 crashes :/

Could it be my PS4 is too hot. It's not done this on my previous warps.

I think its just the game, I got a crash not long after playing the game.

Im staying in my starting system until they hopefully fix it with next patch.

It normally happens when warping to other systems.

So far Ive had 4 crashes with the error code and 1 hard lock. Pretty poor that this stuff was not seen before the game was released.

Has anyone noticed a white dot on the screen when flying around on a planet, not entirely sure what it is but it disappears sometimes, thought it was the ships aiming reticle but I don't think it is?

I think it's to do with when you pin items you need in a blueprint, it is pointing you to a trade station that has the items available.

I didn't realize i was following the wrong path i set out on until a friend told me, I was following the path to the core instead of the atlas path!
So I had to jump all the back got to the atlas interface and finally got the atlas ball again (i sold my first one by accident)

There is no 'wrong' or 'right' path.

I told the atlas thingy to sod off at the very beginning. Within 2 minutes of starting the game.

I have no intention of listening to the rambling of some dictatorial machine telling me where to go.

I will go my own way. Backwards and away from the centre if I like.

I wanted to follow the atlas path but ended up flowing the center path by accident, thats what I meant by wrong path.

Advice I've been given: Follow the Atlas path and complete it before going to the centre or using anomalys. Also keep all 'Atlas Stones'.

To avoid spoilers this advice sounds cryptic until it's relevant and therefore not a spoiler anymore.

Why is their sheep engraved into the atlas interface? Is it taking the **** and calling us sheep? by following the path blindly?

So after deciding not to follow atlas & warping around two more systems I'm totally not understanding if there is any alternative quest path I'm not aware of. Yes it's free roam mode but is there some 'colored' line I can follow, and if so where is it (on the warping universe map? Swear I didn't see anything other than endless stars)

Do does anyone have an answer?
On my galactic map it just shows s path to the centre. Do I have to start again to do the atlas path?
EDIT: or maybe the fact it shows me the path means I'm in the Atlas path?

Do you have a third tab in the galactice map directing you to a waypoint and the atlas station? If you followed the objectives in the beginning you most likely would be directed onto it? I haven't even made my way there yet :D - trying to find this last darn species on this stupid planet. At least this planet isn't trying to kill me like the last (aggressive sentinels plus carnivores everywhere is a tough combo!).

Loving the game so far, even if it is flawed in some areas. Anyone come across anything like the dinosaur creature on the back of the box? Would like to come across something that doesn't resemble another weird "Space cow".

Found a huge planet with two moons last night, one of which is covered in emeril crystals. And that sells for 100% markup in the stations!! Mega bucks. Although I'm out of stuff to spend money on other than a mahoosive 48 slot ship which is around 32mill :(

The ship I have is too nice to abandon it for crashed ships too so it will be a while before I can afford that

Out of the 6 planets I've visited, only one has been a vegetation rich and beautiful to look at planet, the rest are all nasty toxic or cold rocks :p

I cannot get enough of this game. I sometimes wish I were single lol.

I had a really tough time on a really hostile planet yesterday. The atmosphere was extremely toxic. The sentinals didn't take any crap. They were extremely hostile. Theyd go off one one the moment they laid eyes on you.

Anyway when I initially realise how dangerous this planet is I say **** this. Jump in the ship and head out... As I'm pulling away I notice a fat juicy gold rock. So now I'm thinking. Perhaps I would stay for a short while... Big mistake.

I land and start to chip away. Seconds later I have gained three wanted stars lol. Those bleeding drones start attacking so I hot foot it back to the ship. I start pressing the launch button..... Nothing happens. I remain calm.... All I need to do is recharge the booster thingies... I have nothing to charge them with. Now I'm thinking, why didn't I just leave lol.

I jump out and start attacking. A few mins later I start scanning for resources. I see icons appear all over the place. Yet I'm unable to see anything with the naked eye.. Moments later a drone pops up from nowhere, scanes me. And I'm given another wanted star!

I run back to my ship. At this point my shields and life support systems are low. I have nothing to recharge them with. I'm sat in the ship thinking why did I have to be so greedy!

I carry out another scan. And release there are resources underground! I jump out of the ship I begin to blow holes into the ground... The deeper I go the less toxic the atmosphere becomes. After around 5 mins I drop into this huge cave.... Plutonium and all that other good stuff all over the place... Jackpot!

I will never go back there again!

I did have a waypoint set but it didn't have the atlas station as a destination.
Maybe I have to go back to my starter planet and do something?

I'm not seeing the word Atlas anywhere in the map.

If you've strayed from the Atlas path, just keep exploring new systems

Eventually you will come across a "Space Anomaly" where you can go inside and get directions from the Alien to the nearest system with an Atlas station. You just select "Resume the Atlas path" during the conversation. It's a bit of a waste of time though.

Has anyone actually made it to the centre of their Galaxy?

I've gone through a number of black holes, travelled millions of light years (apparently), but am still ~170,000 light years away from the centre of the Eucilid Galaxy
