No Man's Sky

Hello Games have said they aren't releasing any paid DLC (but there will be more free content) so hopefully they stick to that because the actual gameplay is pretty light at the moment.

They also said it had multiplayer so you could meet other players and various other things that it hasn't got. I wound't believe anything they say now.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will evolve like Destiny. There was no cohesive story sort of stuff until they streamlined it all with the new quest system. Maybe they could do the same with this game.

I could maybe see myself getting this game, but only once it comes down in price by quite a bit. Its not worth AAA prices in its current form. I'd pay like £20 for it.

been playing for a few more hours and I'm upto about 80mil and 48 exosuit, one thing ive noticed is its very buggy/crashing. Mine is crashing on average about 5 times a day.

edit:
LOL ive just had a game crash and its restarted and I was at a trade post with rock walls all around it now guess where my ship is, yup in a rock wall. not happy doesn't even cover it!

Yeah bit disappointing the last patch seems to have made the game unstable for me, two crashes last night (hard crashes, yank the power cable), only had one in the full playtime before that.

Found a couple of nice warm tropical planet covered in venom sacs, seems to be a lot of them round O-class stars. Was getting 1,000,000 per run just running back and forth to the trading post on foot and ignoring the sentinels (although they are pretty good for making cash too, and getting titanium for your shields). 42 exo slots now, will top it up to 48. Was searching for crashed ships last night but *every* observatory I found was Ruins

Ship is fine at 34 slots for now, going to go on a dash for the centre with warp drives maxed, just quick scouting each system for any interesting planets.

Had some really annoying weird **** happen last night. Somehow managed fly my ship into one of those floating copper rocks. It got stuck on the surface of the rock and I couldn't get free. So I died. On respawn, my starship was now under said floating rock, but my ship was damaged, and had to walk about 15 minutes each way to find some damn zinc to fix it... Getting back to the ship, I mined away the floating copper and took off, but I'd missed a bit, so the starship couldn't get away, panic ensued as I didn't want to go through all that again, but I managed to land, get rid of the rouge bit of copper, and take off.

Trying to mine 800 aluminium for my warp drive upgrade. No idea where I get nickel from, or Iridium for that matter...

Stuff like Nickel, Iridium and Copper, etc. is far more readily found amongst the asteroids than on planets from what I've seen.

Copper is usually floating for some reason. Gold is...well gold, but with a green tinge in some lights. Emeril looks similar but is more green. Aluminium has a blue tinge to it.

Gold crystals are green, aluminium is a grey/green, titanium is yellow, chrysonite blue. Erm those are the main ones.

Nickel/Iridium/Copper are usually quite easy to find in asteroids though, rather then hunting on the ground.

managed to get upto 103mil before I gave up and got bored, bought a new ship with 31 slots in for 11mil and ive got one more planet to scout round in this system I'm in. only downside was that id filled my warp drive to max on the old ship just before I sold it :(

Engage beast mode  Been tearing up 20-odd pirates at a time, not a bad way to earn units, although I don't need em now, ship is perfect, tears through enemies. Could do with a few more shield upgrades mind.
