No Man's Sky

Ah thanks, I was just being too blind to see that option :) I didn't get a ship as a bonus just credits and a multitool. Time to head off on my first planet.
 
Just found an abandoned outpost in my starter solar system called 'gayboy outpost'! I'm setting up camp there until I'm ready to hyperspace.
 
I've played a good 4 ish hours today. Haven't had a single crash. Had a couple last night however.

Seen a vast amount of planets so far. Lush rich planets brimming with huge, and small creatures. Also very barren planets with a hell of a lot of ore (love these. Especially gold outcrops :D ) got about 600k units so far. Just saving up for a ship! Haven't found any crashed ships yet no matter how carefully I look. Or how many transmission posts I activate :/ I've only hyper jumped 3 ish jumps so far. So not very far in !!

Edit. If you come across a planet with aggressive / erratic sentinel behaviour there are very good items you can get on these. I won't give anything away. But they can be picked up. You get a full wanted level however :p
 
How have you managed to get 600k?

I'm still in the early stages of this. I've just fitted the ship with the hyper drive module thingy. I also attempted to take one a lone ship in space . .... Got my backside handed to me lol
 
Just got lucky and found a planet full of gold ore. Mined it for half an hour and sold it all to a space station. :D

I'm still in the starter / bonus ship. Really want something else but they're all so expensive !! Like in the millions ! :( I've had my a** handed to me a few times, randomly being jumped by space pirates :rolleyes: so glad this isn't true MP. I could see myself getting very frustrated with people ganking noob players lol.
 
I've just opened the galactic map for the first time and had a look around the universe.... OH MY GOD at the size of this game
 
I couldn't put off downloading it any longer. It kept nagging me like every twenty seconds that I've still got bonus content To download via the options menu.

Fight with the mining lazer instead. It locks on if they are in your view finder.
 
Caught in a storm on one planet, temperature dropped like a stone!
Managed to get a couple more suit inventory slots from drop pods. Failing badly to find zinc right now!
 
Hmmmm so wandering off in to a cave was a bad idea, took me an hour to find an exit :eek: I really should leave the starter planet though, been here for 4 hours and it keeps trying to kill me :D
