North Korea

A) students depicted there aren't really the 'kids' we are talking about.

B) If they don't hold hate rallies, they (or their parents) probably dissapear forever in to a brutal labour camp.

C) There is no hell.

Technically they are at war anyway - there has only been an agreement to the cessation of hostilities in terms of a cease-fire not a peaceful solution.

will there be war this year or will it drag on for a few more years with the social media fights between them?

Short of an unpredictable event that lights the match paper (botched attempt or actual assassination against one side of the other, etc.) I suspect it will drag on at the very least until NK demonstrate a fully working ICBM, with potential resilience to ABMs and range to hit the US mainland. I'm not sure the US has the stomach these days even then to take action unless they were actually hit.

EDIT: if the US strangles them enough they are actually desperate - more than they are already - the outcome could be unpredictable (as with Japan and WW2) - it could finally lead to mass fragmentation and defection within the country or it might result in them going on the offensive out of desperation depending on the perspective of the overall people of the country.

So wot do NK think will happen if they nuke america? Will the UN lift all sanctions on NK?

The most logical course of action for NK is to keep increasing its nuclear strike capability

The most logical course of action for the US + whoever else, is to invade as soon as possible, failing that The only other option is slowly to remove sanctions and live peacefully etc.

The longer you wait to attack the worse the situation will become, right now their capability is low, but give it 10 years and its a different situation.

This is all to distract us from noticing Niburu arriving next month. They will let off a few nukes and hope we don't pay attention to the real danger until its too late. Think they did the same story line in that Salvation tv show :P

They could have cut off their supply of oil already, but Russia opposed it as always. That would pretty much grind their forces to a halt.

There can't be peace with NK really, they want to force their ideals on everyone else.

I don't think they do. Everything I've seen says they just want to be left alone inside their own crazy borders.
Yes, they want to unify Korea under the banner of the DPRK but they have done nothing to further this aim.

With current sanctions in place what will be of NK in 10 years time?

NK has always faced sanctions but this is the first time China has actively moved against them instead of alleviate the pressure from sanctions. This has never proven to directly effect NK military might but they have never been this isolated until now.

As time goes on, the stockpiles of artillery shells and old red weaponry become more unreliable. I think the ideal thing to do is for the US (Trump) to back off with his heavy handed threats and to let the Chinese-NK relationship worsen further. I would imagine that at any sign of conflict, China has no choice but to involve themselves, given they wont like a prolonged US-NK war next door as well as less say when it comes to discussing the new Korean border.

Wait too long and you risk giving them time to develop something dangerous, wait too little and China will have minimal involvement, turning the war into something messy and expensive for SK and the US, risking Chinese relations as war is dragged out.

I don't think they do.

Maybe he meant U.S :p

South Korea is within walking distance, they obviously can't invade North America, though if they did land in Southern California most of them would probably surrender and seek asylum

I imagine the minefields along the border make "walking distance" a much riskier concept.

especially when the enemy also has strategic bombers on hand and complete air superiority.
