Nothing phone (1)

Which honor or Xiaomi handsets use these sensors?

I know these are off the shelf parts but not seen them in other phones OEMs.

ROG Phone 6
Xiaomi 12/12X
Honor Magic 4/4 Pro
Honor V40

Use the IMX 766.

Makes sense for them to use the JN1 too, as I'm sure Carl already has good relationships with Samsung/other common. Hence the mention than BBK were trying to block obtaining different parts.

Does seem to cover the basics well. If they can improve the camera quality and speakers in a future version I can see myself highly considering this in a few years time. SD 7 series is completely fine, I feel the 8 series have gone too overkill for the average user these days.

I like this as a spare, I wouldn't have this as the main phone.

Most people's idea of a spare is a £50 Alcatel.

Reviews look largely positive so far, seems like it occupies that mid-range good spec position in the market that OnePlus used to command. Hopefully it does well, I'd be intrigued to see what the Nothing 2 is like.

Interesting. I go away on the 25th, so Nothing quoting a delivery on the 27th is annoying, but the 21st (for maybe 22nd delivery) is very handy. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to cancel my order, so I emailed them.

**EDIT** Having called up and cancelled my order (very quick and easy tbf) I then see although Amazon say released on 21st, it's saying delivery by the 26th...

I see O2 have it, Click and Collect from the 21st. If you go a 3 month plan and pay £399 for the phone, is it still easy to cancel the contract?

Jeez, it's actually showing as available for pre-7pm delivery today for me. If it had said this earlier in the week I'd have saved myself the hassle of mucking about with an O2 contract...

Anyway, my O2 delivery is due today now, so one way or another I'm sorted I guess.

The phone is excellent and I got mine 3 days ago, I like the design and the performance is good too! The camera quality is actually good but I prefer the Google cam which is the best. The case is bulky and I hate it so I'll go with a film screen guard from Gadgetshieldz for the back of the phone! Is there any other option for back glass protection?

Wanted to try it out but after 10 minutes it’s back in the box ready to return.

Was running extremely sluggish especially whilst charging and found too much jittering around the OS.

I think I’m just too spoiled with the 13 pro, nothing else I have tried comes close to it, albeit an unfair comparison.
