The only problem with this forum is when you get stuck connecting and it won't load (DNS resolving), other than that extra bloat would detract from the nice simplicity here.

I think a simple system that allows user to say thankyou to a post is a good idea, perhaps only in the technical sections however. I can see it being abused in GD.

It could work like the trust system, might help encourage users to actively try and help others more.
