NR200 Owner's Thread

Noctua NH-U12A the guy who helped CM , says its just fits with TG

At what point in the video? When talking about air coolers, I hear "the U12A just fits", but no specific reference to the glass panel. It does. But only with the vented panel. TechTesters confirmed that the clearances are different; the Hyper 212 fits with the vented panel, but not with the glass panel.

Yeah. Just thinking it's best to not go telling people the U12 fits when there's every chance it doesn't (unless using the mesh panel). It would suck for someone to spend £95 on a U12A only to find when the case arrives that the advice is incorrect.

Hopefully it fits. If it doesn't, with any luck the Fuma 2 or Mugen 5 will.

That's real nice set up like that.

Reckon I might pick up a 240mm AIO to go with this case. While the 280 support is nice, being able to swap layouts at will would be great.

What i read & seen in video review is If you purchase NR200P, it also come with the Metal vented mesh panel.?
So if this is true then You
can use few of the 158mm Coolers

I'm far too excited waiting for this case, been wanting to tinker with my computer for ages. F5'ing this thread and /r/sffpc to find more information and discussion on what people are planning on doing. Haha.
Initially going to stick my current hardware in there, which will mean having to use the vented panel due to the height of my heatsink (unless I use the 120mm AIO I have). But fully plan to weigh up different options with the likely end goal of a dual radiator custom loop. Really hoping a slim 240mm can fit in the top of the case with some persuasion + custom mounting!

Can't decide on cooling setup, more data required!

Really don't want to have to use the stock cooler for the 3600 while I wait for the rest of the internet to do some builds

Done some more reading and I get it now, air cooling is limited to 153mm with the TG side panel which is a very awkward size for a tower cooler but pretty much unlimited for downdraft coolers

If you want to use an aio your pretty much forced to mount the GPU vertically when using the TG panel as the aio has to go in the bottom

I'd prefer to stick with air cooling so I need to find a small tower cooler or a good downdraft cooler that isn't ugly

Think going full air would be better for me then the aio's I've been using.

I'll use the two top 120mm fans that come with case

Noctua NF-A12X15 PWM as intake from bottom. Would this fan below would be good as intake? There perfect and slim for my RTX2080 FE. Only thing is this fan isn't cheap.

Using this. All setup up outside case just waiting for the NR200P.

You won't need slim fans with an FE card, you should be able to fit full 25mm fans if your GPU is two slot

What's that cooler like and how do you find it's performance, noise and mounting procedure?

I heard they were quite loud and had to be screwed in from behind the mobo?

Cheers

The performance is good, but If I had a choice I would use the dark rock 4 instead. I use prime95 for 30min after mounting. Temps were good outside case never going higher then 70c. The fan is very quiet. The mounting is screwed in the front. It's easy, but you need to hold the screw bolt in back while using the nut in front. After a few times it becomes much easier. Also with 2 fans at the bottom I doubt I'll have any issues with temps in this case.

This cooler is pretty good for what it is and looks the part as well

Ok thanks, considering its tower cooler within spec for the TG panel on this case its on the shortlist

The other is a NH-U9S but not keen on 92mm fans

Thats all I've found so far

Just watched a review and you have to use NZXT CAM, no thanks! I assume it doesnt light up if you dont use the USB cable?

No stock either, Cryorig haven't released anything in years so who knows whats going on there

I thought that at first too, but you don't need CAM. It lights up white on default without any software. I think it looks great lit up white.

White is good, do you still need to plug the cable in? I'm assuming it doesnt light up at all without the USB cable

TBH I'm tempted by the NH-U9S still I havent seen a negative review for it yet, just pricey with adding two Chromax fans
