NR200 Owner's Thread

White is good, do you still need to plug the cable in? I'm assuming it doesnt light up at all without the USB cable

TBH I'm tempted by the NH-U9S still I havent seen a negative review for it yet, just pricey with adding two Chromax fans

I would get that cooler instead. Its just a tight fit and will only work with mesh panel, but you never know it could just fit? The U9S is expensive but think its worth it if you have the funds available?

The Cryorig cooler led under fins need usb header. It’s fine for me because I won’t be using that for anything other than this cooler.

Just need decent slim fans for bottom and those I mentioned earlier are perfect. Noctua fans are the best for silence.

You're thinking of a different cooler, the U9S uses 92mm fans, still very quiet and 5 X 6mm heat pipes

I might get it but I'll keep reading some reviews first

Nice one I'm going to wait for that and pick up a used Wraith Prism while I wait

Knowing noctua it'll be a long wait though!

Thanks

I ordered a Jonsbo tower cooler as a stopgap myself. Should be here in a few days.

Figure by the time the U9S Chromax lands, I should know whether I'm keeping the Ncase, or swapping to the NR200, and if I'm using the NR200, what the best cooling configs and coolers are for the case.

I reckon AIO as intake will be the best config but I'm not interested in AIO so I want a decent air cooler with 4 X 120mm fans two intake at the bottom and two exhaust at the top

I think the U9S will be fine

Did you get the jonsbo from ocuk? Assume it fits the nr200?

Might have a look myself it's cheap enough

Thanks

Yeah, from OCUK. £17.99. Will post my thoughts up when it arrives. It's only got to beat a Wraith Stealth. And if it doesn't, at least it's RGB :D:p

Are you planning on getting the NH-U9S Chromax eventually as well then?

Maybe.

If I stick with the M1, then yes (unless the Jonsbo turns out to be adequate).

If I go with the NR200, I don't know. Arctic Cooling Freezer 33 eSports is only 153mm, and is a good ~£20 cheaper than the U9S (so probably £30 cheaper than the Chromax version). I doubt the U9S is much (if any) better than that (120mm vs 92mm cooler). And then there's the option of having a 240mm radiator and vertical GPU which is tempting. Probably won't make a decision on NR200 cooling until I've seen more builds.

Is the freezer 33 153mm then, I've only looked at the 34, I'll have a look

I think I'll do the same and get a temporary cooler until I've seen more builds but I'm leaning toward the Chromax U9S at the moment because it'll easily fit and if I ever go for a smaller case I can use it again

I really don't want to install the wraith stealth its annoying me

Picked up a wraith Prism and will use that with my 3600 until the Noctua NH-U9S Chromax is released

Just need to order my motherboard now, will probably pre order the Auros B550 this weekend

What I am after:
Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX (AMD AM4) B550 MINI-ITX MOTHERBOARD - Pre-order £179
Been on pre-order now for some time, it was £169 at first

AMD Wraith Prism I be using
if the Arctic freezer 34 esports don't fit. Prism easy handle 3600/3700x

it may be relentless build :D
