NR200 Owner's Thread

I picked up a PC yesterday in a nr200p, it's got a 240 AIO side mounted, RTX 3080 in normal position. (I am changing this for a 7900 GRE though)

What is the *best* cooling setup/orientation for an NR200p with an AIO? it's a 240mm arctic cooler. I've seen people mod to top mount a 240 AIO.

I think it's currently setup as AIO as intake with side mount, then 2 fans on the top to exhaust, GPU in horizontal position.
You can do an invert mod on the NR200P then you can mount AIO on the roof and your options of GPU mount opens up

What I found was with the vented side panel the gpu wasn't being cooled as much as with the glass panel. The air would escape before it got the chance to cool everything.

How do you compare them.

H2O is a great case for desk space, but can be very tight to work in especially with an AIO. I've had a few comment's from friends and family asking "is that a PC, how the hell did you fit all that in there?"

The NR200P is a little easier to work with and not so picky with AIO's. Both are very nice quality cases so no moans here and performs really well. I'm an SFF convert now!

Hi, wondering if you guys can help me with a few questions...

I'm looking at the NR200P (V2 I think, so top mounted rad and only supports vertical GPU).
Firstly because of the vertical GPU mounting I was hoping for the mesh side panel but when I try to buy it seems places are selling the Glass side panel. Looking at the specs I'm a little unclear and it almost suggests both panels are included with the case, is that the case (no pun intended)?

Secondly, with it having room for a 280mm rad in the top I was wondering, is there space to mount 2 separate 120mm radiators (1 for CPU and 1 for GPU)?

Looking at the NR200 Max, seen there's a v2 out now, apart from an updated Nvidia cable on the PSU is there any other difference?
Usb C on the front I/O. That's all I can see. My case front I/O lost one of the USB A ports almost as soon as I bought it and I can't find a replacement anywhere.

I think the PSU may be louder. I’m pretty sure I’m right in saying it’s not just the same PSU with the additional cable, it’s a 3.0 unit with different fan characteristics. It is possible to buy a Coolermaster cable for the Max PSU - I know because I got one and ran a 4090 FE in the original Max.

Put the build together in it on Friday evening, very easy to work on, still tuning and tweaking but very impressed overall. Put a couple of slim fans in the base which initially fouled the power plug but that was a five minute hiccup to fix.

I previously owned an NR200P a few moons back, with a gigabyte Aorus X570 I pro wifi, sapphire 6800XT, 280mm artic freezer, sf750 psu, I have had a break from PC's as had/still have and Xbox X, and coming back to pc's. I did upgrade to a Lian li mini case, but have been told!!! i can only have a small pc again lol, and seen as these are still popular though i might try another NR200(mayber a max)
i have acouple of questions,
before i sold my pc i squeezed a 3090 TI FE in it, and it worked suprisingly well, would a 4090 fe fit in? im guessing if so hopefully a 5090 fe might, apprecaite they are not relised yet,

also i had a gen 4 ryzen 5950x last time round, what would be a good fit in this case re gen 5 Ryzen and motherboard, i did have an ultra wide 1440p monitor, but think this time i might go 4K and also use VR, so prob need a cpu thsat can cope with that,
apologies as some of these questions would prob be better in different threads, but obviously after anyones similar experiences with 4K/VR gamin that owns an NR200

Only worth going X3D really in AM5. GPU compatibility is triple slot but you'd need to check dimensions, the FEs fit and work well in the normal NR200, not sure about the max.

Thanks guys, from what i have gleamed the temps on the max and v2 with the mesh side on are pretty good, my only concern is even though they have the actual brackets for an 280mm AIO on the top, some people have struggled fitting a 280 AIO, my previous NR200 had an artic freezer 280mm on the side, it was tight with the AIO tubes, but the temps were pretty phenomenal in a good way with a 3090ti FE sat in the bottom, so really not sure which case is better, either way for me it would be an FE or a Ryzen gpu, im also now thinking even though i have been away for a year or so, there are some good AM4 bargains to be had, and AM5 is still rather expensive,
