Apologies, i'm new here. I have edited my post to remove the link. thanks for letting me know.

i'm doing some re-planning now on the best airflow setup. i'll probably use a Dark Rock TF / Noctua C14-S (as opposed to the U-12A, since I don't want to sacrifice the side fans) using either the side fans as exhaust and top fan as intake, or vice versa.

thank you Saibork, but the question is on a ITX Mainboard :)
I just noticed that it also links to an older version of the NH12. But if you look at the NH-U12S page it lists the space and dimensions, so it depends on what motherboard you pick/use on whether it would fit. Of course also on what memory you'd pick.

That said, I don't see anything where this is mounted in 90 degree turned fashion. I think you may not even be able to do it because of the was the cooler is screwed into the motherboard.

CPU is hot because he fitted the 1200rpm Kaze Flex from the Fuma 2, if he fitted the 1800rpm 25mm Kaze Flex temps would have been better

Keeping the slim fan on and temps would have been better as the slim fan is 1800rpm

This video has frustrated me, I really wanted Kaze Flex slim fans and a Scythe build, couldn't find the fans anywhere so went with noctua and then gear seekers do a scythe build and it looks awesome, so annoying

Has anyone a view of the cooling performance of TG versus vented side panel?
Specifically would the TG allow the top fans to be 100% exhausting host air from inside the case (e.g. from the GPU) whereas with the vented panel might they also draw in and exhaust cold air from outside with the air around the GPU then pooling?
Perhaps noise levels would be higher with the vented side too. Is a shame for the sake of a few mm the NH-U12A doesnt seem to fit with the TG

Noctua NF-A12x15 Chromax are in, can't link an image from Imgur for some reason, fans are amazing quality compared to the arctics but they have the typical buzzy noctua sound that I don't like. they don't seem to make much difference than having no intakes to the temps after a quick heaven run temps seem the same but will check again

interesting
what cpu cooler are you using?

@Darren_uk Looking good! Can't wait for further progress. I'm currently looking at custom loop parts, the one thing that always keeps me from getting custom loops is that they are so very pricey.

Motherboard could be this one:
ASRock A320M-ITX

and the RAM could be this one:
Corsair Vengeance LPX

I saw Vasher's post with an NZXT Kraken X63 and wanted to add my 2 cents.

Vasher noted that the setup is already a snug fit. I'm using a 3.5" HDD attached to the back of the power supply cage, making things even snugger. Trying to get this to fit with the NZXT Kraken X63 was a huge pain. In the end, I ended up orienting the pump with tubes at the top and the radiator with tubes on the right.

I also couldn't get the radiator to properly fit the side NR200 bracket; the radiator is slightly too wide (i.e. too tall, if looking at the case from the side). I ended up just screwing the top of the radiator to the bracket.

It's a tight fit and I don't love it. It's more cramped than I expected, and cable management is virtually impossible.

Anyone done a build with the raijintek morpheus GPU cooler? Looks like it should just fit?

Also what was the conclusion with the Noctua nh-u12s. Will it fit with TG panel? If not surely a small amount of the heat sink material could be removed

The Scythe Mugen 5 is 154.5mm tall and apparently fits according to @xtremedetailz but only just with the TG panel

The Noctua U12S is I think without checking 158mm tall and will not fit the TG panel however if you're feeling brave and want to buy one and find it somehow does fit which I highly doubt then please let me know as I'll buy one straight away

@Darren_uk

Thats pretty crazy experimenting, congrats on getting it to fit
