NR200 Owner's Thread

This default corsair sf750 24pin cable is 30cm length, what do you think, would a custom 24p cable of 20cm be too short to make it straight like this: (Red drawing is what i would like to achieve). I would like to make it as tight as possible, but i'm afraid 20cm might be too short

Unplug the cable at both ends. Then run a piece of string via the route you want the string to take. Add a couple of centimeters to the length of the string to ensure there's enough slack. There's your measurement.

This tends to be the best practice way of measuring for custom cables. Or take a look on r/SFFPC for measurements for your motherboard and either this case, or the Ncase M1 (worth adding a couple of cm to M1 measurements as the PSU in the NR200 is slightly further from the motherboard).

Decided to get a refund on the Mugen 5 and continue to wait for the NH-U9S Chromax

I know it won't perform as well but I prefer the look of a smaller cooler, everything will fit with plenty of clearance and the fact that Mugen 5 was put in the box like that has really put me off

Just Purchased this case. 22 white and 13 black let in New Zealand. Not sure how many they brought in. I Ordered white but changed my mind and have a black on the way.
Pricing is really good, usually we get shafted on hardware. For example Tuff 3080 is 700usd (1060 nzd) MSRP, but it retails at 1460 nzd 3090 is even worse. NR200P 100usd MRSP is 150nzd, case was 160nzd so not bad at all.
Should be here in a day or 2. Really looking forward to build in it. Was going to go white case with black components accenting in red and white (MSI red etc). Cable sleeves etc.

Build will be
MSI B450i
3600x
Gigabyte GTX 1060
SF750
A2000 1tb m.2
2x sata ssds.
Unsure on H100 or stock Ryzen cooler. for now.

Regret not going Aorus pro wifi for better I/O and extra M.2. Oh well.
Reason i went with black is over the next 6months is some case mods and hard lined tubing in copper. Black and copper accents should look pretty good.
Ill start with making custom length sleeved cables to reduce clutter.

Previous cases:
Phanteks Enthoo Pro ~70L
Define mini C ~36L
Akkla A4 ~9l (Gohst S1 knock off) that i picked up locally cheap.

Ill update in a few days with build progress

I look forward to seeing photos of that as well as feedback on noise and thermals.

Ah yes I did have the existing mobo and cpu . The 2600k system I had started slowly playing up more and more. Kept dialing back the OC to regain stability. Had enough and upgraded. I got amd system at boxing day sales so 9months old now. I knew B550 was coming out and then zen 3 but I couldn't wait.

That went into the define C till I found a SFF case I liked that wasn't crazy expensive to get here. Picked up the Sf750 the other DAY. Only 12 Usd more than the 600W model. Completely overkill for what I will need but I have room for any hardware I want now plus it runs quiet and nice cables to be in with. The most I have managed to pull from the wall is 280W on stock cpu and max OC of around 2080mhz on the 1060.

It will just run more efficient and cooler :)
And regarding the system, that's ok then, just thought you would have kicked yourself if you bought that now/last week.

Hey guys, you able to help me with which CPU cooler? Unsure which to go for!

- Be quiet pure rock 2
- Arctic freezer esports 33

Whichever one I get, I’ll run dual fans. Just keen to know what you guys think would run cooler. I heard the Arctic 33 doesn’t fully cover the CPU which seems odd to me, but keen to hear your thoughts on both.

What CPU?

Ryzen 5 3600

Same as mine so I currently have a Wraith Prism, surprisingly good temps but too loud

Assuming your using the glass panel I would go for Noctua NH-U9S, Chromax version is due very soon, 92MM fans but offers the best clearence.

Alpenfohn Brocken Eco Advanced is 120MM

Cryorig H7 4 x heat pipe versions if you can find one

or the largest cooler with the TG panel is the Scythe Mugen 5 as discussed in the last few pages but might depend on your motherboard choice

@Danosborne661

If you are planning on using the glass side panel, I would opt for the Arctic freezer out of those two options. The Be Quiet one is 0.5mm taller than the Mugen 5, and that only just fits into my case with the glass side panel on.

Both should be more than adequate to cool a Ryzen 5 3600 and keep things quiet.

Looks like it will fit height wise. Will come down to your motherboard and the clearances for ram / vrm heatsinks
Yep. It does fit no problem in the NR200 but - despite the fact that my motherboard (gigabyte aorus z490i ultra) shows as compatible on Be quiet’s website - it didn’t really fit. I did manage to do a dry fit but the lower/smaller heat pipes pushed against the side of my RAM modules.

guys the included 120mm sickleflow fans, are they good?
I heard they got vibration issues?!
Mine vibrated a lot at certain fan speeds causing the entire top panel to resonate. Whilst this only happened on power on when the fans cycle to full power with my motherboard, or when manually setting them to high RPM it annoyed me. I had some nearly new Corsair ML120s so swapped them in instead.

They were quiet at lower RPM and shifted enough air, so I'd not recommend replacing them for the sake of it - only do so if you're finding them a problem and/or have some replacement fans to hand.
