NR200 Owner's Thread

I found that any vibration was caused by the fan grills having slightly moved. Pushing them back in fixed it a treat. According to my commander pro, those fans go to a maximum of 1850rpm. I have them running a max of 1450 based on GPU temp, and they remain quiet and move more than enough air at that speed.

Woot! My Black NR200P finally shipped and should arrive next Wednesday!

Of course....I'm still waiting for a Corsair SF750 to show up in stock or my (2) back orders to be fulfilled...but one step at a time I guess.

Yeah, I ordered all my components a couple of months ago, including the SF750. Did it that way as there seems to be a lot of supply issues. Only have the GPU (3080 queue position 199) and the CPU (not released yet) to go.
Have built the PC in the lovely NR200 white case, ready for the last two parts. Just hope I have everything for early November when the HP Reverb G2 arrives.

Believe me I've been looking for a SF750 since like June...despite my efforts to use auto notify or whatever I seem to miss out. They seem to post at some ungodly hour. So I was able to back order from (2) different sites...we will see when those show up.

Once the PSU arrives I plan to transfer my i6600k w/ Cryorig H7, 16gb ddr4, MSI z270 Carbon, 500gb m.2, and FE GTX1080 out of my Tt Core V1.

I also am 'waiting' for a new GPU and AMD CPU. Maybe I should order my Asus B550 mobo before the AMD announcement next week. What do you think? Part of me also wants to wait for reviews or a 5700....seems like there are 5600/5800/5900 planned for launch.

Yeah, I got lucky with the SF750, got it directly from Corsair.
The hardest thing to find (took me all of lockdown) was a cheapish joystick. Ended up having to order it from Logitech in Norway lol
I also went and got a B550 motherboard, as I have no idea what the market will be like. Went for the ASUS ROG STRIX. Not the best out there, but it had the features I wanted. The downside is that if they release a new chipset with new features such as USB4 then I miss out.

So it all depends on how long you can wait. For me its all about getting everything for early November. But if you don't have a time to target, maybe just wait.

I'm currently waiting for the XSPC TX240 radiator to come back into stock along with keycaps. Got the keyboard and switches not realising how hard it would be to get keycaps. I haven't got a GPU yet but holding off until stock becomes better, 3070's are out and AMD's new cards are available before I make a decision on which one.

Got lucky with SF750 in that a competitor had 2 in stock so managed to nab one

So I went from an NCase to this....

Build is still not complete. I want to get some rgb fans on top and maybe on heatsink. Don't want to over do it with the rgbs, I want it to be tastefully done.
Also I have no rgb headers.

Spec:
9600k @ 4.9GHz
Mugen 5 rgb with 2 arctic p12
Kaze flex rgb and p12 on top
Evga 1080ti sc2
2 Noctua a12x25 - will replace will chromax versions when they're out.

Cpu maxes out at 65c and gpu 70c.

What made you switch?.

GPU compatibility and a fancied a change. Also quite like the tempered glass look.

I still really like the ncase, the size of it is amazing. It took me a while to adjust to nr200, but now I don't notice it as much. Side by side the nr200 looks big.

Size comparison between an Aklla a4 ~9L and the Define Mini C.
Overall its quite nice to build in. After coming from Fractal Design and Phanteks, Im not disappointed at all, for the price point its really good. Rigid and nice steel except the rear I/O could have done with some extra bracing but once built its no concern.
They really hit a wide target audience.

With the B450i the power and reset button ribbon is a tad too short and have to pretty much run it in a direct line.
Biggest downside for my motherboard is as i said earlier is lack of fan headers. Can probably only add one more fan on a splitter before going to a fan hub.

Planning on making some custom sleeved cables and eventually doing a hardline watercooling loop.
Its really lacking something mostly being black. But i might try to add some colour with the sleeved cables and maybe a bit of painting some trim.

Well I am over the top fans already so have 2 x Noctua A12x25s coming. Not a fan of the colour but meh long as it works and doesn't vibrate like the stock fans. Have pulled them off, readjusted the grills and it still just constantly vibrates above a certain RPM. Probably help with the temps of the 3080 I am getting one day to.

Pardon me if this has been asked on here before— does anyone know which standoffs for motherboards will allow for the 1mm clearance buffer that would fit the Fuma 2 with the TG panel?

Alternatively, it seems as if the b450i strix will allow the fuma 2 with TG — is the cpu seat for that mobo the same height as the b550i equivalent?

many thanks.

Beware with changing the standoffs, as this is likely to cause an issue with the motherboard i/o in the back of the case. As the I/O ports will shift, they may not fit in your backplate anymore. Also, make sure that if you have an m.2 card on the back, that it still has enough clearance.

Can confirm the Fuma 2 / b450 strix / TG panel combination does work together with no modifications. Just. Like micromillimeters just.

In saying that, on my build only 1 of the heatpipes prevents a piece of paper being slid between the glass and cooler, but it has been crimped really crappily at the end so I could try risking filing off a tiny bit (like 0.1mm tiny).
Doesn't seem to be stopping the panel from fitting perfectly, though. And I don't think the heat from that 1 tiny contact area would cause any damage (please correct me if I'm wrong).

I also had a look at the backside of the MB and definitely have room to play around with the stand off length if I wanted (bearing in mind I/O plate alignment as stated by previous post).

I like your airflow idea, funny thing i was thinking about it earlier, so you flipped the fans to intake from the back and removed the top left fan maybe to not disturb the cooler fans airflow?!!
