NR200 Owner's Thread

Have you got a photo of how it looks with the Big Shuriken fitted @Relentless81. Would be interested in seeing how it's positioned within the case due to the way the bulk of the cooler is offset from the base. Presumably it's covering the chipset and memory and not fouling on the top case fans or anything?

Appears that it sits further towards the rear of the case than I was expecting from that camera angle, whilst not completely obscuring the memory.
Looks good!

Lovely! The red L.E.D is easy to remove from the sapphire pulse if you wanted to and is reversible. I have the same card. Are you undervolting it at all?

Thanks, I'm not sold on the white fan tbh

The Vega 56 will be going to my brother as soon as I can source a new GPU

Sorry missed the question, yeah it's undervolted and OC'd

Whoa, what's your settings?

I think I won the silicon lottery with this one but it did take some tweaking to get there of which was back in 2018 so I can't remember I just load the profile from the file, I will have a look later and post them for you but just remember as you might already know what works for one card might not work on another

Think I'm sold the big shuriken 3 with a black p12 fan, good temps hopefully be good enough for a 5950x.

Yeah, thanks @Relentless81 for all the testing.

Seems odd to be sticking what is basically an LP cooler in a case this size, but it ticks the boxes; good performance, RAM friendly, quiet. As an added bonus, it should allow the GPU to be mounted vertically too (though that does illustrate just how much space is going unused).

I'm considering sticking a Corsair LL or QL fan on it. Maybe with a Corsair Lighting Node Pro kit, and then one of Pirate Dog Tech's adapters to hook my GPU up to the Node (to allow the RGB to be synced in iCue). Add some custom cables, and that'll be the build done.

No worries plans sound good, did you get the Big Shuriken from the one I mentioned in the MM?

Did indeed. Should be with me in the coming days.

Nice cheap cooler for you there, enjoy I hope you're just as please with it as I am

Get some pics up when you've carried out your plans I'm interested to see the look you go for I'm not entirely happy with the white fan but it performs so well I might just leave it, glad I didn't buy the Scythe fans before testing the P12 but might still go for it for the RGB I'll think on it

I want to replace the stock fan with an arctic p12 but the heatsink has a 3 pin cable that attaches to the stock fan to power the rgb lights. Can't seem to find a cable for it.

If anyone know what cable I should be looking will be much appreciated.
