Nurburgring - German Grand Prix 2009 - Race 9/17

Rubens Barrichello on what went wrong said:
"I guess the strategy in the pit lane... it was a good show from the team on how to lose a race today. I'm terribly upset with the way things have gone. I did all I had to do. I went first on the first corner and that's all I did and then they made me lose the race. If it is really what's going on, we're going to end up losing both championships. I feel sorry for myself, the team. To be very honest, I wish I could get on the plane and go home. I don't want to talk to anyone in the team. It will be all 'bla bla bla' and I don't want to hear that."

Damn it! I missed Rubens having a chew... :(

Leggard needs to just gtfo of the commentry box and go back to his Radio job, he is VERY annoying.

Well what I mean is the way he kind of took the 'ah well, its what drivers do' attitude, rather than 'no comment, i'll be having a talk to him later'

Rubens' radio has been faulty most of the weekend (Button's sounded dire too) so he was not in full posession of the facts when he gave the interview, as far as I can tell.

But that would still shows there's a problem to solve. IMO Brawn did exactly what he had to and I'm sure once Rubens has all the facts he'll back down.
Brawn has a huge amount of experience and handled it in the only sensible way.

A fantastic win for webber and RBR ;)

Why the hell Brawn did not put both on a 2 stopper is beyond me.

RBR were in a class of their own today. No idea what Brawn were doing, they struggled a lot. Nice to see McLaren and Ferrari back up there plus Alonso. Shame about Sutil.

Absolutely stoked by the result today. Thoroughly deserved and hopefully this will open the floodgates to more wins in the future.

Doubly happy as I backed him to win and win some cash as well! :D

Told my cousin to get on a 1,2 at the bookies yesterday, needless to say he totally ignored me and put a bet on Button!

Forgot to say earlier, got a bit annoyed with DC's over Redbull bias opinions during the race. I know he still works for them but he wasn't very impartial as he's been previously. Every time he was asked anything, he always brought Redbull up... reminded me of Yes Man a bit :) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h6iCn0301M)

Any hints as to what the near aero package for Brawn will consist of? It was mentioned today during the race.

Going to be ready for Hungary IIRC.

I really hope we don't see the departure of Barrichello before season end.
Has Davidson had any track time recently?

Edit: Actually, what happens for this? The rumours of Bourdais replacement... He'll have had no track running at all. Isn't that slightly dangerous, dangerous obviously used in the loosest sense of the word.
