NVIDIA 4000 Series

They did, its called at 4070ti and costs £800.

Ok, but for the rest of us that inhabit this reality...

They could do a refresh with higher speed memory and charge basically the same price, e.g. ~£600.

Then drop the remaining cards 4070 cards to ~£500.

Last time they did the Supers (2000-series) didn't they just keep the non-Super cards at the same pricing though and bring the Super variants in at a higher price?
Yeah, MSRP was higher. TPU usually puts in the price in the moment of the review (or thereabouts)



 

If it stays that way and perf doesn't hit the rumoured targets, then don't expect higher end 40xx prices to drop.
 
While people were ripping into AMD for their shallow RDNA3 gains by going chiplet, it was pointed out by a few tuber nerds that nvidia are going to hit a wall soon. The leap the 4090 did was decent, but the above would make sense; although its quite early to be believing anything tbh.
