NVIDIA 4000 Series

Ive got one coming this morning, so I doubt it has new connector but I can check. Honestly second guessing myself between an FE and one of the silent partner cards...that still might have coil whine lol.

Which one, an FE?

I still would have gone for a Zotac.

If it's good enough for @mrk, it'll be good enough for anyone, this is the guy who sent back eighteen (count 'em) Alienware OLED monitors until he got one that worked! :p

I genuinely don't have any issue with the Zotac fan noise? And that's in standard VBIOS setting. In the quiet setting it's even quieter still lol. My card is the Trinity for reference. I keep it in the quiet fan VBIOS mode 24/7.

Also, 18 QD-OLEDs is a bit of a stretch  - I'm on my third!

Strange if you google Zotec 4090 fan noise, it gets a lot of hits. I know one member here at least that sent it back after no joy from Zotec. Anyone running a silent PC build, are the fans silent at lower RPMs like the MSI and Asus ones? (coil whine issues aside).

My PC is silent, for reference my monitor is louder than my PC (!!!!) -My work laptop is louder than my PC (!!!) - So with that in mind I can tell you that the fan noise is a non issue really :D

The spool-up idle fan speed of the Zotac in the quiet VBIOS mode is 1000-1100rpm (it goes into 0rpm mode within a minute when not gaming, and when gaming it sticks to the 1100rpm range too) - You can also see below the average metrics recorded by HWINFO since my last reboot from Tuesday:

Thanks for the info. What case/fans are you using? I did have a Lian Li XL so fans directly under the GPU, now im using a Fractal North, with 6 Noctua Chromax A25's.

Is this Jensen dropping his knickers or a currency thing...........

Either way the 4080 needs to be well under a grand to make sense.

In fact at current GBP Vs dollar the 4090 should be under £1500.
