NVIDIA 4000 Series

Ordering from them lately has been okay for me, but had issues every now and then when an item was marked as delivered, while I was at home, and few hours later one of my neighbours showing up with the item, as the driver claims no one in at the time.
The only real issue was few months back when an item from their US store was supposed to be delivered by DPD. Tracking number was YODEL format. Attempted delivery 1:30am, then item delivered to house 48, while I’m two blocks before on 13, and even after the residents from 48 delivered the item to me, the item was still pending delivery by their automated system.
Parts I usually buy from OC or the other big competitor.
But surely any issue with one item of the value of a 4090 would be traumatic. Glad it is sorted.

I almost always used OCuk to buy most my Pc hardware like my 7800gtx, x1900xtx, 8800gtx, gtx 580’s, gtx 780ti, gtx 1080, RTX2080ti are just some of the GPU’s I can remember buying from them over the years but then they started refusing to send stuff to Channel Islands in about 2021 and I had to start going else where for my PC hardware needs

Jensen Huang is only 20th on Forbes' Rich List for 2024. He'll want to climb the ladder, so card prices will have to go up for the 5000 series.

That Poor guy it got be a real struggle to live on only that amount of money,
Maybe we can setup a fund me page to help him out

New sanctions on Nvidia next week

4090D and H20 GPUs set to be banned as new export restrictions start limiting any GPU from being exported to banned countries when the compute performance of the GPU exceeds 70tflops

Do these bans include other companies too like AMD/Intel ect ?

I will just sell my 4070 Ti, add a few hundred quid on top and gets a 5070 Ti or something like that. No need to upgrade anything else. Won't be upgrading mobo, ram, cpu etc for quite a while.

I don't need high fps so rarely will I be in a situation where my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU. Really want to hold out for AM6 or whatever Intel has at the time if possible.

Only other upgrade might be my monitor. Might or might not sell my ultrawide QD-OLED and go for the 32" 4K QD-OLED. But that won't be until towards the end of the year. Once that is done yeah, just GPU upgrades every 2 years or so and that's it.

PC gaming only gets expensive when one needs to have latest and greatest every time. I have never done that.

Anyone here remember the forum member @Gregster that used to post on here a lot ?
Sure i remember he used to post his own reviews of some his hardware

Just wondering what happened to him, If he just lost interest in this hobby like a lot of us do from time to time over the years.
