NVIDIA 4000 Series

I wonder if scalpers will pounce on 4090FE stock, if the AIB cards are all £2000+ and Nvidia honours the original £1679? Guess it also depends on how much FEs stock there is - scalpers won't know until it's all gone. Though, they can return/distance selling act if there turns out to be a huge stockpile I guess :(

If NVIDIA hold the £1679 MSRP and the GBP to USD remains under 1.14 then yes absolutely scalpers will go wild for them as it shall be easy money.

Our cheapest card is now £1799 based on the rate change and many of the OC models are now 2k and beyond.

Pound hits all-time low against dollar and is now worth just $1.03 after Mini-Budget
The pound plunged to a record $1.03 low against the US dollar this morning as international markets continued to reject Kwasi Kwarteng's tax-cutting Mini-Budget

At this rate, you Brits should just import 4090 cards direct from the U.S

You will never know. As you can return within 14 days, there is no risk in trying to scalp 4090FE on launch day unfortunately. It will all depend on the volume. I still expect them all to be sold out within minutes

Yes, but then who thought people would pay £1500 for a £650 3080 FE.

I wouldn't be surprised if the FE 4090 cards are on eBay within an hour for £3000.
They can scalp and price them what they want, but no one will buy them, not with this mess in the world right now. Good luck to the scalpers as they will only loose money trying that game this time.

It was entirely different world back then. Sources indicate that 4090 stock at launch will be higher than even 3080.
3080 was printing money machine, 4090 is not, so I dont see anyone paying 2xMSRP now. 200-300 quid maybe, but even this is unlikely.

but you can get AIB for less ? dont think stock issue this time ? and no miners buying and more people have cards now that wont want to upgrade so soon ?
