NVIDIA 4000 Series

Are you retarded?

Edit: OMG I'm so sorry, phone changed that, meant to say retired, as in that must've taken a lot of time to make
Lol. First was about right! Yeah very time-consuming - most of it done years ago between uni and starting work, and sat unused for years as was moving around every year, but finishing off now when I get time - just needs a 4090 and Zen4 processor..

I have had two Suprims with no/very little coil whine and two Strix 3080s that were absolutely terrible. Reinforcing this MSI always comes out top of the polls. I think you've been incredibly unlucky.
Gigabyte aorus 3070 no coil whine until pushed to crazy FPS in a benchmark intended for laptop graphics at which point you could clearly hear it squeal like a pig. Asus Tuf oc 3090 no coil whine and I didn't bother running the laptop test on that now I know it's pointless. I've kept both limited to 120 FPS for real world usage and am quite happy with them noise wise.

The FOMO thing is over-played really. When you have been around here long enough you notice it is the same people saying the same thing over and over every new release about how people spend their money. They could basically copy paste what they said about the 3000 series or 2000 series and put it here. It's the same stuff.

It's different for everyone. PC gaming is my only hobby. I don't buy mountain bikes or guitars or fishing gear or cars. Kids have moved out and have small financial responsibility, so a new GPU every release is my purchase for my hobby. It's just very simple really but overly complicated by people who have some valid points about the price, but also some that no matter what a company does they will always dislike.
Very true - it's an expensive GPU, but cost is relative from person to person. What is insanely expensive to some is affordable to others.

**** are doing a priority queue for some invited starting at 1pm, v doubtful there are going to be any left at 2pm when the great filthy unwashed are allowed to buy...

FE stock?
Even in the first wave of 4090 FE sells out rapidly, Nvidia will be hot on its heels with a restock.
We already know they have excessive 4090 dies from TSMC to shift, and Nvidia wouldn't want to leave money on the table would they.
I'm certain everyone who wants a 4090 will get one without too much hassle.
