How is the width with the power adapter cable and the glass side panel? I have basically the same case (the Glass Flow Edition) and that was the only bit I thought might be tight

Glass side panel door closes without isssue - it does slightly brush up against it though, but hard to tell in the photo below.

My cable mods custom 4x8pin to 1x16 pin is en route from Shenzhen, hope it gets here next week. That'll tidy up this cabling monstrosity! Also ordering their right angle connector when it's available, which will angle the cable down 90 degrees, pointing downwards to the bottom of the case, instead of straight out the side!

What pink sticker?

This one!

Zotac AMP Extreme was the only other card I was considering, apart from the Asus Strix which I ended up with. Just can't believe they'd put the serial number sticker in that colour right there in the worst place (unless your vertically mounting).

People have had RMA's refused for removing this type of sticker, so stayed well clear. Love how Zotac removed it in their own youtube video unveiling though!

My 4090 is installed, got a atleast a 50% fps increase in msfs, was cpu limited. Upped the res to something ridiculous, fps fell by 10 but now i'm gpu limited. So just as i thought, at high resolution i'm gpu limited even with an old i7 7700K @4.5ghz

Not sure if it still works but back in the day when cards had coil whine best thing to do was to simply leave the card running under load, something like 3D Mark for 24 hours.

Also be sure it is not your PSU whining.

Will give it a few rounds of 3DMark later on, thanks for the suggestion! PSU is the Seasonic prime titanium 1000w.

The coilwhine is hardly anything though in all honesty, my 3090FE had very, very loud coilwhine, so I'm happy!

Aye because it's a 4070 wearing a fake moustache.
Or even 4060Ti, depending how you look at it (vRAM bus, chip numbering, chip size, etc. etc.). With all the reviews and how things look I'll either stick to my 3080Ti or will upgrade to 4090FE if it ever shows up (though Zotac for same or very close to it price would be fine too - 5y warranty and easy to sell later! :P).

I just went for a used 3090 FE for £750.
I had to get GPU ASAP a bit over a week ago (couldn't wait even a day anymore) and went for 3080Ti for £800, brand new from UK store. Works great and worth the price, considering current situation on the market. I can still return it IF 4090 for MSRP emerges somewhere, but it doesn't look like it.
