NVIDIA 4000 Series

Now I'm seeing scalper prices come down. $1999 for a Windforce Gigabyte. $2199 for a Zotac.

Just sitting there...
Yeah because most people want a warranty included if they are spending 2 grand on something its too much of a risk and graphics cards are one of things that go wrong most in computers.

definitely undervolt your 4090.

In some games undervolted + 70% powerband=no lose of performance!

Also I noticed that in some games, when you start increasing the powerband the framerate goes down initially. Nvidia really have launched these at max performance and nothing in it for over clockers except heat and a bigger electric bill.

The reason his performance goes up is because he's overclocking the card, he's doing an undervolt and overclock

p600S has 190mm side clearance and more than enough room at the front
Without bending the adapter at all this is how much the soft part of the cable gets pushed by the glass side

Holy sag mate, looks like cpu cooler and gpu sagging

Unfortunately, the two that were priced at $2k only lasted a couple hours.

I had the opportunity to get the gaming trio again today at $1650 msrp, but it's not one of the ones I want. That msrp listing didn't last half an hour.

Bear in mind any response you get will be subjective. I'm in my thirties, I've used/been very near around a dozen 3080 ,3090, all of which had coilwhine to my ears.

My 3090FE was the worst, absolute screamer. My Strix 4090, is thankfully much reduced, but still has some coilwhine.

I've had family/friends say they have no coilwhine, only to hear it myself straight away. Age and difference in sound perception make a huge difference here!
I am 44 and can hear a bloody pin drop 10 meters away! I can pretty much drown the coil whine out with my volume turned up :) I would say the coil whine is on par with my old 2080 ti which I added a custom aio onto .

I thought it was strange he stated at the beginning “I don’t recommend overclocking” and then went on to overclock.

The gpu has 0 sag if I try to lift the front it barely moves up and it takes a lot of force.

The cpu cooler is slightly angled forwards, I'm not sure if that's by design or cos I put it on at a slight angle, but whatever its angled at the path the air will be going from the front of the case towards the rear exhaust.

my CPU barely hits 64c in benchmarks so it's on properly, maybe the motherboard is slightly angled down at the front

Nothing to do with that, they're naming it a 4080 and its clearly NOT a 4080, its missing vram and cuda cores vs the more expensive version. People have seen through their bs and called them out on it, seems they'd rather remove it from sale or rebadge it to 4070 and launch at a later date.

I'm sure their partners are over the moon at this, all packaging etc having to be either remade or have the specs\naming covered with stickers.

All they will do if they rename it is call it a 4075 Ti and keep the same price and say a new category of card. Seems like they got caught out legally here nvidia don't give a damn otherwise. They won't name it a 4070 because it means they got caught out and could end up in court that as even they are saying they are misleading customers then, new category name not seen before and sold same price is what will happen.
