NVIDIA 4000 Series

We’ll close to pulling trigger on the 4080 tonight Palit oc. However when looking for waterblocks I couldn’t find anything , am I missing something here or ?

Can anyone enlighten me seems decent card considering where we’re at market wise.

Is there a water block for this thing or one planned ?
At this point if you're spending over 1k then you may aswell just suck it up and get a 4090 for the real next gen gaming experience.

That's just what I've done,as I got a good price for my 3080 w/c ,could have gone for a 4080 but would forever wish I got a 4090

Alphacool have the 4080 gamerock listed as coming soon on their compatibility spreadsheet. Same series of block as the one fitted to the Inno3D frostbite cards, very similar to the 4090 version. See the end of the 4090 owners thread in this forum for an example of what the Inno3d 4090 frostbite looks like fitted.

Does anyone think nvidia will even bother releasing the 4090 Ti now? I think they will release one end of generation as AMD is nowhere close to 4090

Will look into that thank you for reply.

Lol see where your coming from but don’t really want to stretch to 2k thanks

I think the only card Nvidia will release is the 4080ti which will slot in between the 4080 and 4090 and give Nvidia 2 cards to out gun the 7900xtx AIB model's which should be 15% faster than reference model 7900xtx. A 4090ti is not needed as the 4090 is the daddy and a long way ahead.

The 4080 is suffering just being £500-700 in range of the 4090. I would be surprised to see any cards from Nvidia or AMD be placed within the vortex of the 4090. The performance uplift would have to be so great and close to the 4090 for it to work but Nvidia won’t do that.

Don't know what DPD are playing at but getting slightly worried someone's nabbed my 4090 FE at the depot.

Even the water block I ordered on Saturday has arrived faster then it, and that was DPD too.

Give them a ring with your consignment number and they should be able to tell you wete it is .. good luck .

...Do AMD have shares in nvidia? Cos they're making Jensen look good now... somehow!

No, but they do pretty much have the same top major share holders, so there's that: :)

Most of them are fund managers or institutions that hold shares for their clients in trust - i.e. if you're buying an S&P500 or Nasdaq100 ETF you'll be doing it with Vanguard, and if you hold the individual stock you'll be doing it via an accont at State State Street, T Rowe Price, Northern Trust or Bank of America. This doesn't tell you a lot about the underlying/beneficial shareholders.

EDIT: Martin Prince :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-Z8_Mzmqgk you got greedy!

If eventually in a year's time the 4090 sales starts to slow down, wouldn't put it pass Nvidia to "retire" the 4090 and launch the 4090Ti as replacement (especially if product cost being around the same) in limited runs to try to milk those selected few with more money than sense to upgrade from their 4090 because epeen, or to give those were once on the fence about getting 4090 a false sense of "even better bang for bucks than the 4090" forgetting the fact over a year has passed since 4090 launch.
