NVIDIA 5000 SERIES - ***NO COMPETITOR HINTING***

They're going to be in a big mess in 5-10 years time if they keep acting like this, there's no chance, imo, they stay big in the ai space, competitors are going to eat them alive.
There's hope that it will happen. But at it is now, we see why monopoly is bad for the costumer, irrelevant how much one loves the brand (as silly as that is).

If I had a forum, with 10,000 posts on a thread about a new product I was launching and more people pledging the buy it than I had stock... Yes

They don't need the forum to tell them that, and there are only about 200 people who said yes to buying a 5 series card in that poll.

When you’re one of the main computer hardware retailers in the UK, you're always going to have a few thousand people looking to buy who are upgrading from older models and these are their only options if they want to buy new, which most people do.

The prices would have been the same regardless of these threads existing.

200 people saying yes, when stock has been confirmed as "single digit"

didn't OCUK have some variable pricing thing when cards were on sale as well, I recall something like that almost akin to surge. Mental prices on a 5080 though :P

It was so easy to figure out that prices would be through the roof, just by knowing the fact that you won't get prices until launch time, when during the 40 series we had prices a month before that were slowly being jacked up closer to launch lol
