You Guys! :D. I do need two Design 2 One Man-cave, 1 Lady Cave, This time going i will be going all out.

However, I got a crazy idea i'm looking into for fun project, Video Recognition with GPU acceleration.
Done something similar in the past using my 1080TI but maxed out vram doing multiple operations. certainly could be improved but more VRAM the better :)
  • Can you analyse footage of bad driving from a dash cam
  • find the correct car that's driving incorrectly
  • Automate number plate recognition of the bad driver from the video
  • assess which laws are broken
  • Send Fine

Oh, you are one of 'those'.

You have to prove who's driving. So you can send the fine to the owner but you cant prove who was driving. We don't need more surveillance cheers.

one of those? :confused: just seeing if i can do it. its a "challenge" nothing more.

i do various projects for home & for work to test my skills nothing wrong with that. its only the same as a overclocker testing his skill to get the best OC

RTX 3080 SUPRIM X core clock will be 1905MHz compared to Gaming X core clock 1815MHz.

I look forward to read review on 20 November and hopefully it will about £50 higher than Gaming X then I will pre-order it if not in stock. Hopefully I could at the front of queue fast and then I will cancel Gaming X pre-order. Not impressed with Gaming X RGB light and also not impressed to read reports of broken plastic backplate.

They are rebranding the entire lineup. RTX 3080 will be transitioned to 3070 Ti with higher memory. Similarly rtx 3070 will become 3060 Ti. The RTX 3080 Ti will be the new flagship and use the GA102 die along with 3090. 3070 Ti and 3080 will be moved to GA103.
 
Hmm I suppose a rejig is obvious. Turing they released the Supers to counter AMD. This in effect will be a similar move.

The Ti's will be the go-to cards in 2021 as they will either offer the better performance or overlap the previous release and come in at better value (i.e. 3060Ti cheaper than a 3070 but basically same performance). Some cards will again be hard to source at first due to volume and knock on affect of current cards being in short supply/overpriced.

Those already exist, they’re called ANPR cameras, Plod use them all the time. ;)

16GB VRAM to design a “man cave”? In what?! What are you doing, a full ******* VR 8K interactive walkaround with global illumination? Particles effects? Ray marching?!

Sounds to me you wanna learn to improve your workflow cuz a 3090 ain’t gonna solve your problems lol. What if you decide to add a cupboard your cave and 24GB isn’t enough?
