Nvidia CPU's? Nvidia is looking at a takeover bid for ARM

ARM has done pretty well so far and will continue to do well. Hopefully companies such as Qualcomm who said they will invest in the company will do so.

BTW,the sale didn't go through because even the US regulators were against it,as big ARM licensees such as Qualcomm were concerned:

US regulator sues to stop Nvidia’s acquisition of Arm

US regulators filed a lawsuit last year seeking to block the merger, while British and European regulators had ordered probes into the deal.

If so many are against it tells you they think it was terrible for the market.

So, will we ever find out exactly what Nvidia's plan was? Because they're perpetual license holders so never needed to buy Arm to produce CPUs. And any perceived stagnation in Arm's development which an Nvidia purchase would alleviate didn't stop Apple's creation of the M1. And any licensing fees would never cover the exorbitant initial outlay. Even screwing over everybody else and having Arm to themselves wouldn't recoup the cost of purchase.

So what, Uncle Jensen just swinging his Huang?

Probably to force every standard ARM SOC to have Nvidia graphics, and that is most of the market. Mediatek also announced a partnership with Nvidia too.
